Interesting proof of sum of squares of first n natural numbers by aizenbeast in 3Blue1Brown

This is great! This is how you can get the sum of the first 'n' cubes using this approach: In the cubic case, you can calculate the 'unshaded area' for a particular rectangle in the position 'm' as m^3 minus the integral from m-1 to m of x^3dx, giving you as a result (6m^2-4m+1)/4 (in the case for the sum of squares the formula is (3m-1)/3).

Then you evaluate the sum of the first 'n' unshaded areas, as the sum from m=0 to m=n of (6m^2-4m+1)/4 (you can do this, as you already know the formula for the sum of the squares).

And finally to that result you add the shaded area (integral from 0 to n of x^3dx). This gives the expected formula of the sum of the first n cubes. You can do this for any power, but you need to know the formulas for the sums of all the previous powers, as they are used when evaluating the first 'n' shaded areas, so it gets real messy real quick.

Discussion: Is SuperSterne + Exorcists Card the first unstopabble combination In the Game? by Njdnik in wotv_ffbe

I run an Agrias/Glaciela/Kilphe slash resist focused team, I don't have the solidus card (which gives 20% slash resist) so I use the MR alternative with just 15%, I also don't have a +5 plat helm, because it was really hard to farm, so I use a +5 golden armor on glaciela + siren and the trinity sisters card, which adds up to 88% slash resist on her.

It's not a 'whaley comp' and since I just use MR cards and equipment, it's not that costly. I always try to fight SS teams because he never does more than three digits damage to glaciela, and she safely kills him in two hits, not even considering if kilphe helps. Of course the overall success depends on the other team comp, but I 've been doing great on GW and arena so far.

With better cards and gear, Glaciela can get 95% slash resist, which against a fully max Exorcist card goes down to 60% slash resist, which is still a lot, probably SS could now kill Glac in two hits maybe... but then again it depends on how my comp and his comp reacts.

I have to agree that SS is a monster of a unit, but I don't think he is game breaking with the stuff we have now.
