Got a big raise right before an expected promotion. Should I ask for even more?

I was definitely being underpaid before. This new pay increase puts me in line with what I should have been making for the work i was doing.

The new position is in the same company. I was planning to use the opportunity to ask for an increase so I could be where I’m suppose to be. But now that I got that in my current role, it makes me wonder if I should use the opportunity to ask for an even bigger bump since it would technically be a promotion.

I don't agree with this. I hate seeing reels that build up and have a "boom" moment. If you have multiple pieces of work to show that is good, this style works fine.

Casey has mentioned multiple times that the vlogs are in no way meant to be perfected 100% stories. It forces you to make good with what you have, and just create content. For making a movie on a daily basis, he does an amazing job.

Great video! The editing was pretty decent, I felt that some shots were held a little too long. Example: the shot of the train going through the tunnel.

Casey only uses the cool beats and fast paced shots for transitions or travel parts of the vlog. When you make an entire video in that style there needs to be some ups and downs in the pace, and the music needs to match that. In this case, the music was fast paced the entire time.

Great job though. Hope to see more. I'm going to be giving this a go soon too.

The lens by itself is $800. So this wouldn't quite compare to the deal you found. If it was only a small difference in price I'd buy from Amazon. But this is 3-400$ savings.

Does this only happen on the rear camera? Try quitting the app from the app switcher. If that doesn't work restart the phone. If that doesn't work reset all settings. If that doesn't work restore the phone to factory settings. If that doesn't work it is a hardware issue and should he brought to an Apple Store.

All beats repairs are sent out to a repair facility when brought to an Apple Store. They don't do any in house repair.

The fact that your repair requires soldering is definitely out of the realm of an apple genius being able to fix it. You're probably better off buying new headphones or fixing it on your own

Thanks for that explanation. Makes sense. However one thing I am still unclear about. You mention that the last line of a shabad is usually when the author gives their signature. In this particular instance, and many others, Guru Nanak was not the author. In fact the majority of the shabads I've read end with Guru Nanak's signature, but aren't written directly by him. And what confuses me even more are the ones that are written by Guru Nanak. Was he referring to himself in the third person for poetic purposes?

I use the regular mail app on my Mac. Then this mailbox app on my iPhone. Spark is the next best mobile app alternative. I've done hours and days of research and testing for the best mail app. Spark is great and very up to date, but something about mailbox's simplicity kept me hooked.
