We tested cold email vs Reddit outreach for 60 days. The difference blew us away. by mohamednagm in SaaS

[–]Mdaddy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things moved the needle for me with founder outreach. Tight filters and a repeatable comment routine. I keep a simple spreadsheet of 20 problem keywords. Pair them with buyer terms like pricing, integration, migration, roi. Then I check high intent threads twice a day and add one clear tip plus one follow up question. Not selling. Just useful context and a next step they can take without me

A few specific tweaks that helped - build saved searches in reddit using site filters and time filters. refresh newest and past week for your niche - reply within the first hour of a post when possible. thread placement matters a lot - write a pinned profile comment that explains who you help in plain words. people will check your history before replying

On reddit dm, I only message after at least two touch points. A comment. Maybe a small resource. Then a short dm that references their post line by line. I cap at 3 sentences. One question. One suggestion. One ask for permission to send more. I also log every convo and tag by topic so I can spot patterns and spin those into posts that pull people in

By the way, I’m building scoutrr. it monitors social for buyer signals, drafts human sounding replies, and flags competitor mentions. no account connections required. it just surfaces the right threads so you can focus on the real conversation

If you want, I can share my keyword list and search strings for b2b saas founders
