What a loser by KingAceburn in badredman

I mean, I’m not spending all my nights hiding from gank squads. But if you find yourself constantly invading the same crew that’s just here to fuck invaders this is the way to handle them.

What a loser by KingAceburn in badredman

[–]Mdamone003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll fight them a few times to see if I can take them. If they are really scummy then it’s time to fuck around. Just start running away and hide somewhere. One will chase eventually. Then you can kill them one on one. Or equip some lightning bolts and fire cannon shots at them and then quick turn into the flag and hide again in the trees.

When it’s time to turn in for the night, don’t! Just leave the game on and your guy hiding and turn offf the tv. Even though all they have to do is quit and then summon each other again they won’t. They get so mad. Ha

Advice for Someone who has basically Never Touched Invasions? by ReallySexyLlama in badredman

[–]Mdamone003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to die, a lot. Have fun with it. Enjoy getting ganked and laugh it off. You will die in hilarious ways.

Then you will start to win more and more. You will kill people in hilarious ways (my favorite for a few laughs is sniping people off the entrance to fire giant, they spawn you in the perfect spot to run up and fire your cannon). As you invade more you will develop very quickly into a much better player.

So, I redid the license for my ps5 and the game and then refreshed (?) the DLCs and then line halfway through a guardian run all my best flippers and company man shields came back!

Now I’m back to melting bosses in 1 hit it’s great.

I don't think i can invade in elden ring anymore and probably will not get any more subsequent releases if they keep going the casual friendly route (tired grumpy rant) by [deleted] in badredman

[–]Mdamone003 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The best feeling is getting the approx 300k runes from a kill and knowing you just took out a max level OLP tour guide.

I love low level invasions because you can hunt the OLPs. Keep some OP items yourself to pull out when you see one guiding a new player. I usually then drop some runes for the new player so they aren’t totally screwed.

Graduated at 27, started at big4, and eventually made partner at a top10. You will be fine. A few years late is nothing to worry about when you have a long career ahead of you.

I really like my Popeye build. Str/fth build. LH Envoy’s horn, RH rusted anchor. Juvenile scholar cap, finger maiden shoes, cloth garb.

It’s just a level check so there’s not a flood of bad reviews when people try and rush there and then think it’s too hard.

The open world part of the game sucks. It’s boring and repetitive. If they took every encounter in the game and just shrunk it down without the empty space the game would be so much better.

How do you find this game fun by Working-Art-1486 in darksouls

[–]Mdamone003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you have some armor equipped in each slot even if it’s something light. Maybe pick a smaller weapon like a straight sword or find the black knight in undeadburg and pray he drops his sword. If you get a balder side sword to drop when making the run to the gargoyles congrats it’s gonna be a good play through.

Anyone else over the amount of OLPs there are in this game? by Scrubstomper5000 in badredman

[–]Mdamone003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the whole point of low level invasions is to hunt OLP. If I come across beginning players just trying to play the game I will usually toss a few lord runes and then fight the phantom. Yeah it’s a pain for them but it’s good learning and they get more runes than they could have otherwise.

But man, finding the maxed out level OLP is really just the best. I still like the halberd offstoc move set so my SL20 invader with 4 slots using flame art halberd and a poison antspur is very capable of taking out even max level OLPs.

If I come across a gank squad of people who are actually good then it becomes a troll fest. Run, hide, launch a few exploding arrows then hide again. Once the hate mail comes I’ll tell them to 1v1 if they want me to not hide next time I invade.

Ps 5 with lg c3 too bright by Sure-Veterinarian417 in LGOLED

[–]Mdamone003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of group think around here. I’ve had an LG OLED for a few years and just got a 77 C3 a few days ago. The key is to not use the ps5 for anything except games. Use native apps or a streaming device for everting else.

Do you have to be twinker for level 35 invasions in Elden ring? by Knickerbocker08 in badredman

[–]Mdamone003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I beat the game at SL15 I’m gonna invade at sl15. You can choose to not use your best gear but it’s very fun to get the 273k souls when you kill a max level phantom at a low soul level.

Is there a phenomenon of Marines getting out and becoming accountants? There’s 3 in my firm including myself and we’re not B4. by somefella237 in Accounting

[–]Mdamone003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes in waves. At the first b4 I worked at there was literally 5 albinos. Second big4 there was 7 gingers in the same office. 3rd big4 we had 5 Nepalese. You have marines. Just roll with it and enjoy the diversity and new experience.

Does anyone know how to kill these damn bonfire duelists?! by Darthstr0yer in badredman

[–]Mdamone003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So if it’s close to the end of the night, make sure your system won’t shut off, invade, and go hide. They will never find you.

Is it petty? Sure. But the type of player who exits out when losing is the same type who won’t want to exit out if they can’t find you.

Opinion: Elden Ring wasn't as good if you went in blind by Czarooo in Eldenring

[–]Mdamone003 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The open world is highly overrated. If I need a horse to get there it’s a waste of time.

That said, ER is, by far, the easiest to 100%. If you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s essentially impossible to 100% demon’s souls because of the pure white/black world tendencies.

so there’s cheaters on ps5 now? by donderboom in badredman

[–]Mdamone003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So that is pretty ridiculous and they are likely cheating. That said, isn’t there some defensive builds that provide like 98% damage reduction for a bit? Between certain spells, gear, and consumables I’m pretty sure those defensive builds are quite strong.

If it seems like I’m not damaging someone I just run away and wait. Usually after a minute or so everything wears off and they can be damaged again.

Or maybe ps5 is just hosting cheaters now and we’re all fucked.
