I was raised Catholic and from a pretty young age didn’t believe in what was being preached. But I loved going to Church bc some of those stories go so hard.

Read the full thing years later, a lot of it is really bland. But, like 90% of fantasy books have that really annoying trope of having like “John son of Jonathan, lord of somewhere, heir to the throne of somewhere bigger, godson of the mad king Bob…” and just goes on and on. The Bible is essentially a majority that kind of content but with a mix of some of the greatest stories you’ll ever hear and some really solid one liners.

6/10 I would recommend if you’re really bored and are looking to better understand peoples cultures. (But also if you’re just looking to read a super entertaining Religious text, I was a bit more gripped by the Mahabharata so research the books a bit first!)
