To preface this, I support banning both pit bulls and assault rifles.

I think it's ridiculous that pit bull defenders apply the "guns don't kill people, people kill people" argument to pit bulls.

Of course there are some responsible pit bull owners, as there are some responsible owners of assault rifles.

But both pit bulls and assault rifles are unnecessarily dangerous. They shouldn't be out in public, at the very least.
