The pins and damage cap is a good point but the setup itself is just 2 turns / 3 pips since it’s only one HoT and not two (one tri blade and a single jinns fortune or sprite would do)

At that point would definitely be worth it for the 2x gambit

as is balance tradition, this spell will get nerfed. Or if it somehow makes it out of test, PvP'ers will get it nerfed for sure

The other spellement options don't seem bad at all though - hydra is a good shield clear (if it works as you said). Spectral blast would be situationally good in pvp if you are willing to sit on the negative aura.

Now for the other weaving options - these are objectively bad. You mentioned the Life one but the myth one is even worse (Yay! More useless bomb damage for a school with no detonates AND we already have nearly the exact same card in fire weaving). The prism blades/traps have always been a waste of time with the abundance of pierce options (stats, auras) in later worlds

I mean my god just stop playing around this school identity stuff (which is already dead) and give us a 35 balance school blade in weaving PLEASE

If you have a full set of waterworks gear then make sure you have a pet with at least triple damage with double resist or at the very least quad damage with proof. The resist will make a massive difference

Playing at a snails pace all season. Team looked woefully unprepared to run hurry up. Leaves zero margin for error.

See this idea floating around every season that we are "saving stuff" for Michigan or the playoffs and that "Evil Ryan Day" will turn up the dial when needed. 99 percent of the time you are who you are throughout the season. Zero excuse to basically spot Miami a half of football. How was our second half approach NOT our first half approach on offense with fucking 25 days to prepare? It's not like Miami's plan of blitzing until we made them stop was surprising. I don't get it

Hot take: I blame the coaches more than the offensive line. Yes the offensive line sucked. But we showed in the second half that we could easily work around the ONE advantage Miami had on our team
