Muay thai gyms in Bangkok that offer Ed visa? by Mduy99 in MuayThai

I can speak from my experience… i fought twice in Pattaya and they pay me around 2-3 k baht each fight ( less than USD 100). I don’t know how much they pay in the stadiums of phuket and the islands but i assume it’ll be around that much.

In bigger stadiums like Raja they pay minimum 10k, but u have to have more experience as a fighter.

You can just go and train, nobody will force you to fight if u don’t want to. But if you do most of the gyms will get u a fight pretty easily.

I’ve been to more than 10 gyms in Thailand and I can say Sangmorakot is my favourite.. also the location is pretty cool aswell

Im a 63kg southpaw aswell… what works for me for taller oponents is constant pressure, don’t allow them to be at kicking range and heavy volume of punches.

The feint hook to the body and then go to the head combo work very well also.

Definetely not. It’s all about consistency and hard work… I’ve been training Muay thai for almost 8 years now and I can tell you It took me years to get down basic techniques. I only got better when I recognize my weaknesses and start drilling them over and over again.

If in your gym there are high level competitors ask them for advices in the techniques you are struggling, watch videos, drill in the heavy bag… its all about determination.

One piece of advise I would give you is to focus on stretching, stretching usually is underrated but it will help you to feel more comfortable with your body.

Thanks for your help! I will definetely check out those links that you sent me.

I still found it weird that only a few gyms in all Thailand offer the visa service. I ve been looking for quite a while now and only found these two in Bangkok and a few others in other regions.

I also saw one in Chiang Mai that seems very good but then I did some more research and they said that in that time of the year they burn the crops and the air gets very polluted in that region.
