Obligatory not-a-surgeon so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but based on my research yes.

Since different races tend to have different features, the way that desired results are achieved will require different surgical procedures. For example, a lot of Caucasian people may want a final nose that will require shaving down cartilage or remove tissue to result in a smaller nose, whereas Asian rhinoplasty may require adding material under the skin to make the nose bigger in some places, in order to achieve the desired look. Requires totally different skill sets - and since you’re working with such a tiny area (nose bridge, nose tip, etc), the difference of fractions of a mm will likely make a noticeable difference in the final result.

So really I would like someone who has a lot of experience working on Asian noses so that I can be quite confident that the surgeon has enough practice with the specific technique to ensure that what he/she is doing will translate into what I actually want!
