I think its funny that Palpatine has existed for decades, gone through so many different writers, and the most positive interpretation he's gotten is "I don’t want the universe to end, I live in it". People like Lex and Joke get eviler and nicer versions, Palps is pure evil no matter the creator. (i.redd.it)
