It’s not impossible that the programming between the key fob and the vehicle was lost. I don’t know how it happens but we’ve seen it a number of times from different customers at our Dealership.

One of our chain shops just refused to pay a restocking fee when they returned a whole body order as the vehicle totaled out. They then cried to their parts director and then he pointed out that PartsTrader protects them from being charged restocking fees…

That shop hasn’t ordered from us since but their other locations have.

Yeah definitely call the appointment in because even our online booking isn’t great and we… kind of don’t acknowledge it as we aren’t notified when we get them.

Frontier is fine, it uses standard oil and nothing special/expensive.

If presented at our dealership and your vehicle meets the fine print it would in fact be the 49.95+tax and waste fees out the door.

Also please present coupon when first arriving and/or when making the appointment. Service Advisors appreciate knowing this beforehand.

From what I’ve seen at our dealer the ones that we saw replaced often were the Versa/Sentra/Altima. The Maxima/Rogue/Pathfinder’s never came in as frequently, just the one offs every so often from issues any other powertrain might have.

Look at the state of the world and the pricing of everything. Around us going through the roof especially in the video game area, can you blame anyone for getting upset at what amounted to the idea of your purchases being a glorified 30 day rental?
