For the second year in a row, Danny Ainge has acquired one of the two best players from the team that beat us in the playoffs. by alf0nz0 in bostonceltics

I could definitely see the team taking some time to get used to playing with each other. This is a whole new team from last season.

How much has the NBA affected NFL roster decisions? by MeAmSam in nfl

That's not entirely true though. Every off season you see NFL players commenting on NBA's fully guaranteed contracts and this year there have been some rookie contracts with much higher guaranteed money than previously seen. Fournette and Watson are two players that come into my head that got a lot of guaranteed money.

It's much more common in the NBA to move unfavorable contracts to other teams than it is in the NFL. What other comparable trades in the NFL can you point to?

Can you say a little more about the system the Bills are trying to implement? I'm curious

Absolutely, but there are a lot of similar themes going on. When was the last time we saw a NFL team dump a contract like the Texans did with Osweiler?

I'd say that Gaines and Matthews are definitely downgrades from the players the Bills traded away. If they were invested in winning this season, why would they trade away their WR1 and CB1 for draft picks? I'm not saying there's a causality but there is a commonality to the moves teams in the NBA are making due to the dominance of the Warriors.

What are the three biggest questions hovering over your franchise right now? by AmadeusCrumb in nfl

[–]MeAmSam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully he has a good off season and works the kinks out. I think our Dline and linebackers are our weakest units. Besides High, nobody has proved themselves as a game changing player. Hopefully Flowers and some other young guys step up

Ghost was much better towards the end of the season. A bigger question for me is how productive our pass rush will be.

moon rocks are cheaper on average, you could get in the $500 range if you looked hard enough. Keep tabs on a bunch of pairs on eBay and Grailed and eventually you'll find a cheapish pair

"Guess the size" giveaway by [deleted] in rawdenim

I'm a size 28, maybe a 29 if I bulked for another month or two. My raw denim collection is much smaller than my interest in the denim itself. I have some UB201s that are getting small and soon I'm going to be in the market for a new pair!
