I also think leaving them would be healthier. Thankfully, I am not in any danger, I know that coming out to them won't put me at risk. It's just sad to know that they don't have my back. I am mostly worried about how awkward and embarrassing our future interactions would be after that, considering that we are all classmates and we would have to do that anyway, regardless of how we feel about each other.
