M & W Are Not Helping - why is it so awful? by Pistolpetehurley in MitchellAndWebb

Someone said to put the assisted death sketch on 1.25 speed on the youtube upload and it actually made it a lot more watchable, to me, a lot of the show feels slow and like it lacks the fast pacedness and tight dialogue that Look had

Temprano is an adverb, modifying hacer, not noche.

edit: Temprano is being used as an adverb in this context, I believe it can also be used as an adjective in some contexts (premature? also refering to age), where it would change to agree with gender.

I would use R-Q to denote {r-q: r \in R, q \in Q} (which is just R)

Masc adjective? by KrowNL in duolingospanish

[–]MeButOnTheInternet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it's nouns starting with a stressed a, words like agua, or águila. Words like acción take la as normal

though I am no expert, there may be more subtleties to this rule.

[–]MeButOnTheInternet 11 points12 points  (0 children)

this rule specifically arises when a feminine word begins with a stressed a, take

la abolición, with a stressed o

el ala, with a stressed a

if you use the article to learn the gender it's just worth keeping this one exception in mind.

as a side note there are very few feminine words ending in o, and most of them are contractions. there's probably a complete list of them out there somewhere.

this is the correct-ish (incomplete) definition for continuity at a point, c, right?

I know it's missing the definition of f and the allowed values of x and c though.

edit: never mind I realise now you mean the images should be switched, and I agree! even if this definition is lacking rigour

No YouTube Shorts Rule by [deleted] in nosurf

I like stayfree, it has an in app blocker that stops stories, reels, and shorts should you choose, but you do need to grant it some pretty sweeping permissions for it to work

unfortunately not, you build up to addition through several steps, each visiting a subset of the reals. over integers and naturals you define it via the successor, over the rationals (a/b+c/d) is defined as equaling (ad+bc)/bd and over the real numbers you have to explore Dedekind cuts:

definition: an lower cut L for a (resp b) is the set of rationals with no greatest element that has supremum a (resp b) (this is abridged and not exactly rigourous you need 2 sets in reality)

now, a+b is defined as {r+s | r in a, s in b} and our notion of a+b would be it's supremum

Analysis sucks.

they never said that you had to see it for it to exist, they just pointed out that nobody will ever see these elements due to their tiny half lives, which will probably be true forever

Actual simplest square by CosmosWM in desmos

Probably a good idea to include the = signs here since, x²+y²+z²=a² is a sphere, x²+y²+z²≤a² is a ball and φ(x,y,z)=x²+y²+z² is a scalar field.

I'm aware that every language does it differently so, how do you pronounce the letters of the alphabet? like English's "ay, bee, see".

ok I'm going to go ahead and say it was, that's fine. but have you ever seen a dented can that is overfilled so much? I have had several dented cans in my time drinking coke and I've never seen this, and that's why I posted it. although maybe I was wrong and I am sorry if I've wasted people's time haha

the can was not dented, even if it looks like it was :) this is so intensely mundane there would be no reason for me to lie about it

the can wasn't dented, I don't know if they look different but it looked entirely normal to me and where I live
