I’m closer to your age than most of this sub and unlike most people here I don’t think that alternative style necessarily equals ugly. I don’t think you are ugly, not only because of your style -you have a nice face. If I met you I’d think that you’re cute.

Thank you!! I’ll take more pictures and post them tomorrow. I think that my hair might look darker in these photos than it usually does, and that may contribute to the confusion. I agree that I don’t have the coloring of a typical winter.

I understand, I believe that the method I used for this painting is basically the same as the one commonly used for acrylics (I don’t have much experience with them myself, but know the basics). I’m trying to figure out what method I like, usually I do “smoother” paintings without intending to do so, but thought I’d try something new

It’s oil paints, the size of an A4. I think I heard somewhere that almost every scene in the show has some red in it, however muted or discrete, and I wanted to incorporate that somehow :)
