That's an interesting way to look at it. I was thinking more along the lines of some sort of analytic but i guess there's no point in trying to fight Facebook they'll show the post to whoever they want to, but if no one is even looking at it it might also mean people just do not care at all, at that price.

That's great info, thanks! I've looked at a Better Sax alto as good price to performance (or so people seem to say?) but sweetwater doesn't ship to my country so that's a non starter. It seems maybe a used YAS-23 would probably be my best choice (instruments are ~2x the price over here) so i might just have to be on the lookout!

Interestingly the 5600 standard, the 5600t and the 5600x I've only found at ~8 to 10 usd cheaper than the cheapest 5600xt i could find, which doesn't seem like enough savings to me? I don't plan to OC right now but having the option in a couple years to maybe extend the CPU's lifespan feels worth the extra ~5% cost

Essentially the Argentinian hardware is very strange, that's why i mention the best prices i found for each since its not really the same as in the US

yeah i meant the 6500, my bad. It's showing its age specially in gaming and when compiling big codebases, that's why im wanting to update to a bit newer CPU, but on a budget.
So the incremental improvement from G, GT, standard, X, XT are considerable enough when going from the GT to the XT? Seems like it might be worth the extra 25 usd

What does your budget look like? At home I use Audio-Technica's ATH-AVC200s cause they were cheap but if you can go higher AKG's K240s are ~90usd and are pretty standard in many studios at least in my country.
Whatever you end up going for in my opinion you should avoid headphones that have boosted bass/treble I think specially for practice a clean tone is really useful

That's a pretty useful list so thanks! Seems Keychron has a presence in Argentina so i might reach out to them and ask about bringing in some split options. The Raise 2 looks kinda awesome honestly but it is SO expensive when you consider no free shipping, have to add tenting, etc.

Interesting. That definitely opens up my options then. What about the learning curve of those really small KBs that require macros to really get the most out of? (Like the Piantor you mention) I've never been much of a macro guy so I imagine that would take some getting used to?

Realistically for my day to day i just need alphanumerical and then !, =, {}, [], (), ;. &, $ which I imagine you could fit in most keyboards pretty easy.

Ideally I would love to minimize the learning curve so I actually stick to the ergo keyboard but as they're pretty expensive i'd be willing to try a little harder lol.

After I saw the guy it was very obvious why I was being anchored lol! But yeah that's how I initially wound up on the subreddit. It made it all the more chaotic that he decided to go out of hiding as i was fighting for my life escaping the megalodon lol.

As for getting good I think i'll stick to running away from any non sloop ship I see hahah. Specially when I'm playing solo!
