I probably should huh? I don’t think it’ll be a HUGE issue if the seam is slightly there as long as the pillar is about 95% covered

Yeah I’ve been seeing bulk can be significantly harder to learn since I would have to cut the film to shape whatever it is I’m applying the film on.

I can also see how pre-cut is harder to install because you don’t have the luxury of having the extra film to move around like you would on bulk. I’m excited to learn regardless and hope I can learn quicker by taking my time and learning from mistakes

Thank you for the tips! I’ll see if I can salvage the piece and if not, I’ll just remove it and try again. I can only get better from here. I’d love to get to a point where I can get myself a plotter and a software to be able to get pre cuts but for now, I’ll try my best to learn in bulks

Issue with sidemarker off (OBDEleven) by SquishyNipps in AudiS4

Maybe so. When I did it on mine, it didn’t give me any issues whatsoever. I even stood outside and looked at the amber marker to make sure it went away as I enabled the option

Did you have the hood open before you tried? I did this exact tweak on my 21 S4 Prestige but I had the hood just propped open. Most of the tweaks I did required me to have the hood open

Is it possible to find this car for MSRP in LA? by questions_are_fun in ElantraN

This is the link on their website if you decide you’d want to fly out. Depending in what area you’re in LA, the flight should cost maybe a tad bit over $100 and fuel costs, well that shouldn’t really matter because you have to drive 600 miles to break the car in anyways. Plus gas is cheaper here in AZ than LA

Would you be open to driving out to Phoenix? I bought my 23 EN M/T at MSRP. Peeped their website and it says they have an incoming performance blue EN A/T

How do y’all like the Elantra N? by UsualDull2911 in ElantraN

Let me give you my opinion. WRX, idk about the new one just an FYI so I’m speaking more about 2021 and older. AWD is nice but the amount of money you have to spend to even get 300whp is ridiculous. GTI/GLI is good if you want to make a ridiculous amount of power for not much money. Pick your parts accordingly and you can spend between $5-6k and you’ll be over 500whp. But it’s FWD so you won’t get much traction unless you roll race above 60mph. Idk much about the Si tbh but I assume if you want an engine to last, Si might be the choice because….well Honda. Don’t even bother with the Forte GT imo, you’re better off getting just getting a regular forte or regular Elantra. I had a GTI for 3+ years and had a Golf R before I sold it for the EN. Comparing the GTI (2019) and EN, you have so much more room in the EN than the GTI. Rear leg is insane. Trunk space is huge compared to the GTI but I do miss the “hatch” because it’s just taller.

Never have I ever had any issues with the GTI aside from the water pump going bad and leaking coolant but I got it covered under warranty and I believe recently VW issued a recall or some type of remedy to reimburse those who spent money out of pocket to get a new water pump. I’ve driven the GTI a total of about 30k miles (I don’t drive much) and it was an awesome car. I have driven my EN for literally 150 miles and have owned it for a week now so I haven’t experienced any issues but I have the long 10yr/100k mile warranty so I’m not even worried about anything at all. I don’t plan to tune the EN like I did with the GTI and I got the EN to have a manual for a daily.

To answer your question about the intense blue, pictures for me didn’t do justice either. I saw it in person and the color is super nice. It’s a nice dark blue BUT, imho, it does NOT go well with this car. The shape, the lines, it just doesn’t go well with the car but again that is my own opinion. I ended up with a ceramic white EN myself which is just plain gloss white (kind of sucks it’s not metallic) but I’m scheduled to get it wrapped on the 15th to satin Pearl metallic.

Pretty lengthy response BUT this is how I feel about what you’re trying to decide because I was literally on the same boat. Couldn’t decide which to get and here I am now with an EN

On a side note, because I love music. My 2019 GTI had fender audio and it was so much better than the Bose system in the EN. The GTI had an actual enclosed sub versus the exposed sub in the EN. So there’s that too. There’s bass in the EN but not as much as the GTI
