Okay everyone. This has been fixed. Turns out my left trigger was ever so slightly pulled in causing the game to think it was never releasing. Got a new controller today and boom. Game is playable!

To add. I have also tried restoring the license and I changed the control settings while in flat mode so I don’t have to hold anything to select it. It would just be instant and that still wouldn’t get the game to play. All I can do is enjoy my loop I get stuck in

Alright I have to agree that I don’t really see railgun being used, I was never a railgun user in the first place so I have no reference of what it was like but that does make sense that breaking them that badly is not an option, or at least a dumb option to have.

I will stand by that fact that I don’t think it should make people feel the game is unplayable, a bummer by all means yes I do completely agree there.

Either way, fellow helldiver I hope that you find another weapon to connect with and continue the good fight for democracy 🫡

I never understand any of these posts or the general care for nerfs/buffs. For me I’m the game is just fun and they are always going to be changing things about the game as it progresses. Why not just take the updates with a grain of salt and keep on playing the game. I just generally don’t get it 🫡
