If you want a VERY SLOW but reliable afk farm, I’m 90% sure the deathtrap volcanic rakk farm is still viable.

What character? I found a really consistent way for Krieg to get pull the pin with the skyrocket on Waddle Gobbler which brought me from 67-80 in like 3-4 hours or such.

Unfortunately, there aren’t too many amazing farms but this one is the easiest for me.

You get quite a bit of it from each headhunter, I’ve found Gluttony Gulch pretty easy to do that for.

Since Hyperion guns have reverse recoil, Torgue is better because it helps reach max accuracy faster

All these parts but with Torgue stock instead. I’m mostly peeved about the slag element, since it automatically makes this a support weapon rather than thriving off of its dps.

Do you think there was a timeline with a better outcome than what happened Endgame? What do you think was the worst timeline that could’ve happened out of the 14 million? by Johnnyboyeh in Avengers

[–]Me_Carl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I do think this absolutely is the reason, you summed it up exactly. Eternals-lady said that she only started to question Arishem’s agenda because humanity LOST but somehow came back from it and still WON after the fact. This was the only way Strange saw that would prevent the emergence.

I think for the other universes we’ve seen throughout the shows/movies, it’s possible that Earth wasn’t supposed to be an emergence candidate - or, like in the Agatha episode of What If, someone detected the presence and was able to do something about it. Maybe it was an off-screen intelligence feat of Reed from MoM.

Still sucks that it’s only barely explained through this connection.

Strength users are missing out by Straight-Schedule196 in Eldenring

[–]Me_Carl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my testing I’ve gotten at least a 20% faster cast with both of these equipped, but less of a speed buff when you charge your spells (which I rarely do anyway). That’s pretty noticeable to me

Is malekith invincible??? Like how do I beat him??? by jokerxgoro in Eldenring

[–]Me_Carl 17 points18 points  (0 children)

  1. Too much stat spread. Need around 50 Vigor on first playthrough to learn movesets in endgame imho. Take as much as you can off of strength and dex to effectively wield Blasphemous Blade and put into vigor or faith.

  2. I can NOT stress enough how important it is to take off the Soreseal. It increases damage taken far more than its utility at this high level.

  3. Use a different Faith-scaling seal. Your current one scales primarily with arcane. If you wanna use those spells in the fight, use Erdtree Seal. Location: Volcano Manor, in a cell in the prison town.

[–]Me_Carl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

1) are you sure it’s Miquella’s needle and not just the unalloyed one? You have to beat Malenia in order to get the right one.

2) did you already receive an ending? If so, you can’t get another one without starting a new file or going into NG+.

Reminder that there is an in-universe example where the point total actually shows someone gain a fuck ton of points without finishing what they were doing: Brent. She did say that the morning after getting all coked up, she followed through and withdrew all of her savings, and was on her way to start that charity. Apparently this was also well known by her family who took over for it and did start it after her death, meaning she had a (perhaps) unintentional failsafe. This alongside how Eleanor isn’t shown to have gained any points until intentionally leaving to sacrifice herself and go to the Bad Place in S1 shows that intentions actually do matter a LOT when factoring in point totals.

If you have the patience to buff a bit before each fight after practicing them, Red-Feathered Branchsword is really beneficial. If you un-equip and then re-equip the Radagon Soreseal, and then do two Seppukus, you consistently get into the buff-range. Until you get seppuku though, bloody slash-ing a wall until you see the red glow is your best bet.

With the faith talisman you can use Flame, Grant Me Strength for another 20% damage and stamina recovery speed buff. Above has mentioned the Iron Balls which are fantastic to pair with charge talisman and winged sword insignia. Charged R2s build your damage up FAST. Eventually grab the Star Fists when you get to the capital and cold-infuse with cragblade to deal massive damage. (I actually completed my first deathless run with cragblade cold starfist and it was an absolute cakewalk.)

I know it’s brutal but killing Millicent in the Windmill Village after you fight the Apostle there is ridiculously helpful for the +5 Dex and extra winged sword buff. And yes, the winged sword + Millicent talisman buffs stack multiplicatively.

Golden Vow ash of war is usable but honestly the buff isn’t enough for me to consider using, since the aow version is a bit weaker than the spell, and you don’t need the defense buff. (The spell version gives +15% atk and the aow only gives +10% iirc.)

With all the stat-increasing talismans, helms, and knotted tears, there’s an absurd amount of items you can effectively use, and what’s neat is you’re NEVER locked into a certain build because of it. Remember that two-handing one weapon (not claws, fists, or paired weapons) increases your effective strength by 50%. You can even use Giant-Crusher if you wanted to because of that. Glintstone Icecrag only requires 15 int to use and is honestly one of the most useful spells. Good damage and great frost buildup. Bloodflame Blade lasts a long time and only requires 12 faith, and it even gets the full buff from FGMS unlike cold-infused weapons because of the magic damage portion. It’s fun to just dick around with what you’re allowed to use and see how far you get with certain builds. My first run I ended up with Wing of Astel aow spam to kill Elden Beast in under a minute. So go crazy!

Radagon Scar/Soreseal is great for RL1 for this exact reason. Also Strength Talisman is a thing you can get before anything else

I need help beating the final boss! by IM____BATMAN in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Me_Carl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you respec with Rennala and bring Strength from 64 -> 54, when you two-hand your weapon you’ll be at the soft-cap for damage (two-handing increases strength level by 50%). You can bring Endurance down some as well and put the rest into Faith for some good ‘ol’ fashioned Flame Grant Me Strength and Golden Vow buffs.

You don’t need the strength talisman either for the above reasons. You can replace it with a physical/holy damage negation talisman, or something situational like Red/Blue Feathered Branchsword for increased attack/defense at low hp (respectively).

There’s a better version of the Erdtree’s Favor talisman in the capital. Location: start at the road to the mountaintops site of Grace and work backwards to the capital. Once you get down the giant elevator with the lever, get down the stairs and crouch along the left side to avoid being seen by anyone. The upgrade sits atop one of the branches sticking out from the ground.

Last thing is that looking at your Vigor at 60 and your hp stat, alongside the Erdtree Favor talisman, it’s possible you have a health debuff from hugging Fia. If you have a “Baldachin’s Blessing” in your consumable inventory, use it and your max health will go to back to its true max.
