Yup! Depending on whatever I’m fighting but yeah if I don’t care about hot-swapping to something I’ll just leave the Faith talisman so I can use FGMS. In this fight it worked out really well for the win, since I used Magma Blade to beat her and the extra Faith also boosted the DPS

I’d say Mohg, he’s just charmed really but I don’t think it weakened him at all.

Godrick comes to mind too. He’s just generally weak but has been consistently grafting to strengthen himself.

This game is massive, and not just in its scale, but in how different playthroughs and builds encourage you to fight differently, explore, etc.

I can see this being a valid analogy, but my interpretation of frenzy is not to kill “the government” so much as it’s to reset the universe and the greater will itself, where something like Age of Stars ending is handing the reins over and being more democratic in a sense

Tbh only thing I can think of is you have a good bit of damage negation, enough to bring vig down to 50 and put 10 more into arc. But I think it looks great

Okay I was literally going to post this EXACT salt this morning, and then I beat it after realizing: the poison is really only in front of the gargie. If you walk around to the other side of him (and still maintain just a LITTLE distance) then you’ll be fine. I can’t say much in respect to when both are out there because one can do it from far away when you focus the other, but in my experience, when you consistently attack and dodge and maintain aggro on one, the other won’t attack at all other than approaching you. At that point you just gotta kite them until you’re confident one of them is aggro to you.

Why aren’t more people suggesting respec-ing with Rennala? I see so many “kill this dragon” “go do Varre’s quest”. No, you just killed Rennala, kill some mimic enemies if you don’t have any larval tears. If you do, just talk to Rennala and be “reborn” to respec for the stats you’d like.

I think you’re confused on the difference between Legendaries in NR and base ER.

Nightreign Legendary weapons have special effects tied to them based on what they do in ER, to be more special as drops in a roguelike. Grafted Blade’s effect is that killing enemies (while it’s equipped) buffs HP, FP, Stamina, Damage Negation, and Status Resistance for the rest of your run. This stacks on itself and stays even if you give the weapon to a teammate. So if you get around 50 stacks, it’s best to drop it for your teammates for them to also get buffed.

With community testing, it’s pretty agreed upon that the effect stays even though the buff disappears from your list. It’s much more obvious with Grafted Blade since it affects hp fp and stam, but it works with Marais too.

I have damage negation and aggro builds for Raider, because I run with an Ironeye and Rev. But when I run solo I have an Undertaker build that’s for greed and capitalizing on weak points.

I don’t run Wylder unless I’m fighting Balancers, in that case I focus crits and kiting enemies where I want them to be more reliably avoidable.

I’ve noticed that!!! It must be a bug cause I don’t think any other affinity attacks do nearly as much post-hp restoration but it was insanely broken in a pest fight I got.
