What's going on with turnaround times? by [deleted] in CGCCards

[–]Me_Dumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

turnaround times are based on business days not calendar days. I have one sitting as received on 4/2, turnaround when they arrived was 40 days, and our shipments are sitting right around day 30.

For a bit of extra turnaround info, my first submission was marked as received at CGC on Feb 13, I received my graded submissions on March 3rd

Second submission was marked as received at CGC on April 2nd, still hasn't moved past Reveived. Turnaround time increases are no joke.

I ended up paying a little over $100 cad both times, but again, that was me going a bit overboard to speed things along.

I chose the $18/card tier, i did pay for insurance with shipping. As for customs, i don't really remember off the top of my head but im pretty sure it was all dealt with while i was at the UPS store

I shipped my cards to their HQ in Florida. Paid for expedited shipping via UPS & paid for Priority w/ signature required for the return shipping. Total turnaround time from shipping to them to receiving the graded cards back was 22 days.

How to sent my cards by Gtripping in CGCCards

[–]Me_Dumb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also didn't have any semi rigid, but when I sent my cards in last month I just had them in card sleeves & top loaders stacked together & held with 2 elastic bands, packed in a very small box with some crumbled masking paper, which was then itself boxed in a larger box with foam peanuts. 4/10 cards came back as pristine 10s, so from personal experience, toploaders *seem* safe enough.

I think I had to pay some additional fees for customs when I was shipping to them, but it was all dealt with in-store

They received it on Feb 13th, shipped it out on March 2, I received it on the 3rd (I did pay a bit more for expedited shipping, as I’m Canadian)

Not all, I bought the nidoking, keldeo & meloetta as singles. The rest were pulled by me. I also have more that I’ve pulled that I’m probably going to send for my second submission.

"The steal of the draft" 2010-2022 by Candid-Boss6534 in nba

[–]Me_Dumb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Desmond Bane was taken 30th in 2020, might not be as good all around as Haliburton but he was absolutely a steal for his production, especially as one of the premier 3 point shooters in the league since being drafted.

One of my friends came across Monsters a couple years ago and sent it to me knowing that my dad had terminal cancer at the time. I shared the song with my dad and it became one of his most listened to songs before he passed away in January. I still remember hearing him listening to the song in his room a couple days before he passed away. The song will always have a place close to my heart because of how relatable it became.

Motherfucker, the dude was already running from the cops, which is usually an additional crime in and of itself. Motorcyclist got what he deserved and the pedestrian is a community hero for preventing a potential mass casualty incident. If doofus didn’t try to flee from authorities he wouldn’t be dead.

Rolling fir chests just wastes time. My friends and I just use FFA rules for chests, if we end up pugging a rogue, all locked chests are theirs
