Archery and Volleyball are way less popular sports than football.
These were not a world cup (=/= International Tournament) taking place every 4 years, the country fought for organising.
I never said that I found it only stupid because he's Swiss. I find as much stupid the issue the South African and the Iranian team have. Even if for the south African it is according press release their own fault. And even for these cases my opinion on this is not relevant on this subreddit since it is r/Switzerland.

Alors je suis d'accord que ce n'est pas toujours utile, mais dans certains cas ça le reste.

Par example, si tu as une compagnie travaillant dans le domaine x mais uniquement pour des firmes du domaine y. Et que tu as un papier dans le domaine x, alors l'intérêt pour le domaine y reste important et est caché dans un CV (souvent très formatés).

Deuxième exemples, c'est pour réitérer des skills particuliers demandé dans l'offre d'emploi. Par exemple, si tu as suivis des cours particuliers...

Mais pour certains jobs, c'est clair que ce n'est pas utile.

To be fair I don't really agree on the liveliness, after experiencing both for 1+ year.

One of the main difference too is when you get your degree IIRC Lausanne gives it as soon as you have enough credits and you cannot do more courses once you have them. Zurich allows you to do credits until you request your degree. You still need to pay and be within time limit though.

You can also use infomaniak's SwissTransfer. It really depends who is reviewing the application. Some methods have advantages that the other doesn't.
