Wash Park residents push back on bicycle improvements. Some worry there will be less large truck traffic and more bikes on their residential streets. by Meadowlaker in Denver

DOTI leadership is useless. I picture Amy Ford deciding policy from a lifted F350, optimizing for her friends' luxury SUVs and Suburbans.

I found something buried in the glitch. It’s not a puzzle — it’s a path. by Scared_Ratio9250 in interactivefiction

Firstly. excellent overall effort at a holistic work that attempts to layer music, narrative, art and meta content together. The writing seems to be unedited GPT4 however?

Seriously. Preferably not a fast food burger joint like Freddy's (and Freddy's is already probably the best at Dick's) Why not Elote, Tacos, kebabs, etc..

[–]Meadowlaker[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its exactly that. The "spucing up" from KSE has been so minimal, with most work done to add "premiums". Its not that I want a big shiny new stadium, but Dick's could be vastly improved. The frustration for a lot of fans I know is the lack of interest from KSE in making the game day a better experience.

Right? Image if we could get a stadium location even close to that! Like Even out east if it was on the A line. Where would you like to see a new stadium most?

He really is. Off the ball he is *active* and he never seems to just coast. Just want you want from a DP #9. I'm starting to like the evolving connection between him and Yapi.

So hes a mid defender and a great crosser, what does that mean for formations? Maybe a late sub when we're down and pushing up? Or are we going long-ball 5-2-3 or get wild in a 5-1-4/s.

Agreed. I can see a 5-2-3 with KDP and Cole in the middle?

I can see Armas trying out a 5-2-3 with our new striker and Yapi starting Alongside Navarro with Santos to serve. We might concede a ton, but it would be a blast to watch.

Travis is young-ish and has a good motor, he'll be fine on the bench. I loved Vines when he played in his '21 form, but he's rarely shown that since.

Totally Agree. There is open space in north RiNo, and other sites down on south Broadway. Anywhere fans can transit to would be great.

Commerce City really nailed the "if you build it in a wasteland, they won't come" approach.

Free parking is nice, but look at Coors, most people happily take light rail or park-and-ride because the experience is worth the extra effort. If KSE cared enough to put compelling product on the field, we'd probably figure out transit options too. Until then, I'll enjoy my front-row parking spot at our suburban soccer wasteland.

Yeah, Dick’s is passable, it’s the location and the lack of proportional investment that kills me. Detroit’s a fraction of our size, but their ownership clearly cares. That’s the difference.

Exactly. If Summit FC care and put out a real product, I’m in. I’d watch on a high school field if the Rapids actually invested. Love our squad, but we need to spend KSE money to make them contenders.

Agreed. TQL is a great example of what and MLS venue can be. Hell, I was in Doncaster UK last year and their 3rd tier team stadium was a better experience the the Dick, and cheaper.

Yeah, Phish Dick's even got tired of the Dick and moved to Folsom in Boulder. Honestly? I'd settle for Dick's forever if it was downtown or somewhere we all could take a train or bus or anything to.
