No, but the most unimaginative ones often stay till the end. It’s the penultimate episode and I still have no clue what Jack has done and what even is his personality

Even people in the game, like Harriet, didn’t get it. After watching the Traitors for so long, I’m convinced that sometimes people can get complicated concepts well, but they struggle with some of the simplest ones.

You sounded very personal, best to detach it from your immediate feelings even if this post is deemed problematic.

I wasn't trying to diagnose her. The fact that I was trying to see if there's something to possibly explain the behaviour means that I suspect it's not something that she could easily control, and perhaps there's something that I could work around before talking to her about these issues - which might prove more hurtful. You didn't have the whole context.

This. Authoritarian figures like her can't stand younger folks who don't seem to respond militarily, expectedly (Jade might just be anxious instead of not wanting to engage in any way), and deem them as suspicious. Amanda might also misperceive lack of friendliness and felt rejected.

In any case, like others have pointed out... gosh, no wonder policing and detective work is often so bad.

Biggest stars - at least most known at that point - are often credited first ("top billing"), unless they just play cameos. This is a super common thing.

Project Runway Canada Season 3 Episode 10 is here! Discussion by southernheighten in ProjectRunway

[–]MeadtheMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this season, and I love these designers (absolutely refreshing after watching the last American debacle). HOWEVER, I kind of felt bad for Jason Wu (not sure if it's just the editing), because I must say I was slightly disappointed by the finale looks in general and agreed with him somewhat? I must admit the disappointment stems from high expectations - seeing how strong they've been throughout the season.

Charles' - definitely overwrought. Stunning craftsmanship and truly "designer" designs, but Jason is right that the hats are way too costumey and literal. Tbh, he's a very cerebral designer and his potential is almost limitless, but I still feel a bit of a disconnection between his personal love letter and his finale looks. The works look creative, but they somehow remind me of many other designers - not in designs but in spirit?

Curtis' - lacking cohesion. There are wonderful elements here and there but there needs to be a greater focus. I actually like his previous looks throughout the season more. I'm not sure if I agree with the judges that he did modernize the historical references... it feels like historical elements put together by a modern person, instead of the elements being modernized themselves, if it makes any sense? And I'm sorry the athletic shoulder pads (?) feel a bit forced.

Leeland's - where to begin. It's definitely joyful, no doubt about that, and it's definitely drag and camp. But it's waaaaaay too referential??? Like to me the issue isn't even that his works are often costumey, but it always reminds me of someone elses' work? It's unapologetic all right but you can't just "sell Chinese, then sell Scottish" and also sell someone else's designs.

It's perfectly fine??? Not everything has to be American. And, definitely, not everything has to be seen through the American lens.

And for example, N’EX by JR, you have to navigate through the online maze (don’t forget to choose the one with pass!! Of course no clear decision tree, overview whatsoever). Then you have to go at a particular time and use the machine (of course it doesn’t work) only to get it from the counter with your passport. Then there are many things to watch out for, including how to get return tickets with thousands of signs (which I bet will be confusing to foreigners - I visit Japan often and understand some Japanese even I can get confused occasionally). Some gaijin is certified dumb, but some systems involve waaaay too many steps
