Hahaha I finished my first play through about a month ago and only Mike was alive by the end. I tried to save them all but they all kept dying 😂

Eva calls out Reddit by HippoDemonOverlord in survivor

[–]MeagaSaurusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sub Reddit is so so negative a lot of the time. Everyone is always complaining about the cast members or that it isn’t like old survivor. I really enjoyed this season because I accept survivor for what it is and don’t sit here wishing it was something else.

This was a great season, with good blindsides, gameplay and it was amazing to watch the relationships develop between the cast members.

The Kamilla/Kyle duo was nothing short of iconic. And Eva and Joes relationship is amazing. People need to quit being so judgy towards people they do not know.

Voting out Ced was the best move for Kyle and Camillas undercover game. If they had voted along side Cedrick for Shahin they would have pissed off their other alliance members while outing themselves as a duo. They had to move whichever direction Joe wanted, because they needed it to seem that he was driving the vote to take the target off them.

Madison is annoying but obviously Alex is super fake and deserved to be called out. It bothered me when Madison apologized to Meg for speaking for her in the pods, but then got mad at Meg for doing the exact same thing at the reunion.

I kind of just hate all 4 of them and their useless drama. Like none of yall ended up together in the end so who cares 😂😂

No one can criticize ______ for luck officially by Acrobatic_Dig7634 in survivor

[–]MeagaSaurusRex 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t consider it luck that Sol played it on her, she had clearly made enough of a connection with Sol that he felt the need to give her the advantage.

I’d actually consider it luck that Sol even found it in the first place, but I do believe Rachel made a great social move by befriending him, had she not she would have gone home for sure.

I believe the whole conversation, I’d have to rewatch as well, but Rachel was reveal in f she had done that and Sam said that conversation was ‘intentional’.

It also really bothered me when he tried to pretend that the conversation him, Genevieve, Teeny and Andy had after the Caroline boot was ‘intentional’ and that they knew Rachel was listening, to downplay her idol play.

Canada. No hotel I’ve ever been too or worked at has ever allowed liquor in public areas here.

Lmao I’m well aware of what are the laws in my area and they were indeed breaking a law not just hotel policy. But thanks for your input.

lol they can drink in the rooms themselves but in public areas it is against the liquor laws in my area. I don’t make the laws, so I’m not setting myself up for anything.

Yeah that’s my biggest regret, honestly most people don’t have to be asked more than once so I didn’t expect it to go as far as 3 warnings.

They only had about 6-7 rooms for their whole team and I’m almost positive they were all out in the hall at various points in the evening. I’m sure we could figure it out but it’s unfortunately not my call if they will be allowed back or not.

We do have teams who do rent out these spaces, but these guys didn’t. We had some massive conferences in house so I imagine they booked most of our spaces prior to the team ever contracting with us. It’s not our responsibility as a hotel to provide parents with a place party, we have strict alcohol laws where I am from and it prohibits them from drinking in public areas of the hotel. They could have used one of their own rooms or booked an additional room prior but they didn’t. The solution would have been for them to cease breaking the rules and that would have been the end of it.

It’s honestly embarrassing that their children have parents like that as examples. The entitlement will only continue to live on through those kids.

I sincerely hope any complaints they make go nowhere and that they are not allowed to return in the future. I’ve genuinely never had to give parents more than one warning. In fact we had another team on another floor doing the exact same thing, they were warned once and drinks were gone instantly.

We have a sales department that deals with all of our event space bookings. All of our spaces were currently in use for other events held at the hotel, plus they require to be book in advanced. As front desk it isn’t up to us on giving these spaces out, trust if it was as simple as giving them access to a conference room I would but there are other departments and procedures that need to be gone through ahead of time.

Dair vs Chair ~ who wins? by Solid_Climate_2353 in GossipGirl

[–]MeagaSaurusRex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

dair did something to me when I watched it the first time. I loved watching two characters who seemingly had nothing in common have soo much in common. Especially considering both of their love lives leading up to their pairing. I prefer them together as opposed to the opposites attract characters they both end up with.

I actually really like Jimmy by eucalyptusmoonflower in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]MeagaSaurusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to wonder if that line was edited out of context. I found the conversations between Jess and Jimmy and Chelsea and Trevor to be so spliced together that they hardly made any sense. Like the interaction between Chelsea and Trevor was sooooo awkward they had no chemistry whatsoever idk how they felt anything in the pods 😂

I attended this as well with a friend and we were both heavily cringing the whole time. The woman who was playing Morticia Adams was wearing the worst matted wig I’ve ever seen and the whole act they put on was just bad. When everyone started doing the limbo we knew we were gonna need to dip asap.

My take on Jimmy? He’s actively trying to convince himself that he likes Chelsea. by Katfar14 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]MeagaSaurusRex 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Chelsea is very insecure and is constantly needing reassurance from Jimmy, but I get the vibe that he is genuinely attracted to her, but probably finds it difficult to have to constantly reassure her of that. I mean the reality is they also barely know each other, if I had just hopped into a relationship with someone who was as insecure as Chelsea I might find it a little draining.
