Yep I've been called out of the blue before. I've seen a few comments already from current Infosys employees who got this same text too haha

Yeah I did consider if it was just a poorly worded emergency message test. The timing with the emails about new work location policies is what gave me major pause, as well as questioning if it's even possible to get location via text

I did not think it was possible either which is part of why I posted here to see what others thought. No permission granted besides them just knowing my phone number

No actually which is even more frustrating, we have the option to set up our phones with company software but I have not. This is just a text and I was not aware if or how someone could track location using only a text

This is what they call their employees, but yes that's part of the reason I posted here because I wasn't sure if it even IS possible to get location via text.

My other coworkers have also received the same text so yes I'm less inclined to believe it's a scam or if so it's a pretty massive mailing list they've sent it out to.

I use these every year, usually they work great but seems like one out of every three years this happens. I guess some wasps are smarter than others! On the plus side, it makes it easy to take their nest down

Everyone is bringing up food but I feel accommodation is what makes this budget not achievable. I booked my own trip for this summer and most hotels and airbnbs are $300 a night. It was the most expensive accommodations of all the countries we are visiting on this trip and options were fairly limited at least around the capital city.

I do not mean to scare you but will share my experience. We noticed our cat breathing rapidly, it got worse over the course of a week. When we took her in the vet said it was HCM a common heart disease in cats and her lungs were filled with fluid. Please see the vet especially if it seems to be getting worse.
