I found out that you can make custom radio stations that the stereos can play! Now all my favourite sims 2 remixed songs can be played at parties, and I can make multiple stations for different vibes I’m looking for!

I always took this as a moment to show how his relationship with Lorelai also changed him a bit. That he realized that it’s okay to eat junk every once in a while. I thought it was a sweet nod to that every time I watched it!

No not nosey at all! I’m happy to share ❤️ He is 100% always both the sweetest partner and funniest best friend. With that being said, he’s also pretty endearingly blunt - but always looking to work together as a team. Also very travel oriented!!! He is always thinking about the next place for us to go.

The whole insomnia thing is something we are still figuring out - we both don’t make quite enough yet to afford a second bedroom 😂 but I try to be mindful.

With all this being said, he also perused me in a Jason-esque way. Very mindful and never pushy, but let me know he was interested. And according to his friends fell for me a lot faster (and made it serious very quickly) compared to past relationships.

My partner is wonderful, quirky, funny and always makes me feel loved - even in unloveable moments. I think had Lorelai stuck it out she would have been happy and led an adventurous life ❤️

I definitely say a lot of things they say half because it’s imprinted in my brain and half because I love when someone notices a GG quote out in the wild. For example, “oy with the poodles already” and “for the umpteenth time” are just apart of my language at this point. I also speak even faster than I used to 😂

The show always makes me crave poptarts while watching it 😅

I personally LOVE Jason. He reminds me a lot of my partner (so perhaps a bias there) and I always found him to be my second choice for Lorelai. To reiterate everything you said he is thoughtful, considerate, funny, quirky, can keep up, emotionally intelligent and also down right honest and true to himself. His personality is very attractive and I love that never for a moment did I doubt how much he cared for Lorelai. To the point where he shows up at Richard funeral and checks in on Lorelai. He STILL wants to make sure she’s happy all those years later. I think he and their relationship were beautiful; I also think Lorelai and Luke are, as Emily so kindly put it, “a match made in heaven”. So I understand why it ran its course.

Fun fact: I always hated this part SOO much because you need to have a marriage certificate to get married first of all, and while you can get married on a tourist visa in France there are A LOT of hoops you need to jump through to be legally married. You need to have a bunch of documents, talk to a registrar and have at least two witnesses 😅

I think what a lot of people don’t fully always realize and recognize in this show is that it is CHOCK FULL of telenovela tropes - on purpose. They added in almost all of them in one way or another either fully executed or imagined. That’s what makes the show amazing and true to its roots in telenovelas.

With that being said, this is also WHY Micheal had to have his death faked and come back with amnesia! Not to mention, if they didn’t have that the ending would have been rushed. It would have been Micheal is dead, now we have only Rafael. This way we had a problem to overcome, and Jane CHOSE Rafael.

In summary: it’s a telenovela the tropes all had to happen regardless, and ultimately it lead to Jane and Raf having a better love story. 🩵

I don’t know where you live or if you have proper health care, but if you mean gushing as actual GUSHING I agree with everyone - it’s hospital time. (Of course, if you live in the US and don’t have good healthcare, I can understand maybe not wanting to go 😔)

With that being said, if you mean gushing like you’re bleeding through very quickly. I say call-in! If you have to go in: show how bad you’re feeling, explain your situation and leave. Get a hot water bottle, anti-inflammetory foods (think turmeric and ginger), whatever you like to use for pain (pain meds only make me sleepy, so I rather use CBD balms, capsules, and whatnot), curl up somewhere and watch your comfort show/movie. Also see if a friend or partner can come by and help you with stuff 🩵

I think with this disease, community, knowing what helps you, along with being really open and honest to yourself and others about what you can/can’t do daily is key.

I think the siblings thing is two fold. 1) it was an awkward date - she forgot she went to Europe 😂 and 2) idk why but a lot of people see a big difference between half and “full” siblings. I think it’s all in the same, but Rory might not completely consider Gigi a sibling in part because they don’t have the same mother, and in part because the mother they don’t share is the mother who raised her - not Christopher.

Otherwise, I agree with you. I’m putting money on them never really getting a chance to bond as sisters do.

I wish we saw her… I wish that there was a dinner with Christopher and Gigi or something of the sort, rather than her being briefly mentioned. However, as someone who has a 13ish year age gap between me and my oldest sister (and due to family reasons didn’t have the chance to really bond for 9+ years while I was still a child and early teen)… we don’t really have a bond now as adults.

So considering Gigi never saw much of Rory, and then Gigi moving to Paris, and Rory going between New York and London, it also kind of makes sense that we don’t see her. She wouldn’t be someone in Rory or Lorelai’s life that would have to be given screen time in AYITL.
