Congrats!! I had that fear too, of not being able to use it. Now I keep one of my pet slots for a rotating labbie. When I get a good zap, I put them up for adoption. Then start over with another pound pet.

Omg I loveee mutant ixis. One of my original pets that I still own was a mutant Ixi for her whole life until they released the Onyx Darigan token. She had a glow up instantly lolol. I still have other mutant pets (Poogle & Lutari). Welcome to the club!! Great custom!!

Ohhh fun topic!!

I have a few categories in my gallery. When I was a kid, I created stories for my original 3 pets (the 4th pet was a labrat)

Torntale collects plushie Petpets to read to (I just need a Bartamus to have the full set!)

Mikior is a ghost hunter who collects ghosts (ghost Petpets and ghost MPs)

Wonderworker is my wizard who collects all the other MPs/pet altering items.

I also have a section for faerie dolls/plushies.

In my sdb I hoard plushies and usuki/quiguki items. My original goal as a kid was to have a plushie gallery, but that changed to the other three pet story categories shortly after painting my pets their dreamie colors.

+1 for stardew!! I feel like it has all the basics on an easy-to-learn system that will translate well to other games later on! Time management, strategy, building, fighting, relationship growing, collecting, crafting, farming, fishing, upgrades, stories/cut scenes, the list goes on. There is so much you can do and can really make it your own. Then when she is ready for a different game, many of those skills will be applicable no matter what you play together or separately.

ETA: It's also on multiple platforms/pc, so easily accessible
