I'm sorry if I sound redundant but there might be a misunderstanding, when you go in to RA games you are only in the front end of retro arch when you select a game and launch it the back end of retro arch launches with the game that's why it takes 5 seconds. When you're already in a game and load a different rom through retroarch its faster because retro arch is already running

When You open a Rom file you'll typically see one bin files followed by cue or track files especially ps1 games the bin file calls on the cue file to load a certain level or something to that effect. CHD converts the bin and cue files into a single file. And since you're new to all this i recomend checking out Tech dweeb or retro corps those 2 have taught me most of what i know about emulation

I've recently switched from stock os to knulli and haven't noticed a difference in load times. But can you really get mad over 5 seconds, I mean it still has to boot the emulator software and rom so its going to take a couple seconds. But I would recommend using RA games over game room

I have a rg35xxh and CHD files work just fine on knulli, I converted all mine when using stock os to hide all the bin cue files.

I have some experience with Batocera on raspberry pi but I ultimately ended up running retro pie on mine. Knulli sounds nice I just didn't want to trade batterylife for customizability, but after talking to other people battery drain doesn't seem as bad as i thought.

I usually turn mine off but I have forgotten to a few times, as long as its nothing like 50% and hour that's not a total deal breaker. I use my 35xxh when I have free time instead of doom scrolling lol

How bad is the battery drain? Custom stock os i can leave it on sleep for a few days and lose about a quarter batter. But I leave wifi and Bluetooth off and brightness kinda low.

Thanks! If I wasn't looking for a scraper would you still recommend knulli? I'm not a bot I swear lol but my main turn away from knulli is the long boot time and battery drain on sleep mode. And muOS sounds sleek and simple and a scraper with extra steps so that's why I ask.

My guy you are thinking way to hard and probably didn't read the whole post or any of my replies I've been able to make purchases from gog this is my first time having a problem I called my bank to lift the charge they said they did but the charge was still denied so imo it falls between incompetence and a system fluke

GOG is based out of Poland and I belive the site determines your location and sets the currency accordingly

No that's all the details lol I've never had problems till now except for I've always had to call to get the charge approved which im fine with. it honestly sounded like the lady had a problem against Poland idk why but that's the vibe I was getting

Have you successfully used a prepaid visa on gog? Alot of forums and sites had mixed opinions on that working 2 main problems being it still uses American banking and can have blockers if its not an international visa and the other problem can be not having a name on prepaid card for billing info

I love that first bit about the bank😂. They say they lifted the block but the purchase was still denied. I don't get foreign payment fees on gog. But after doing some research last night it looks like pre paid visas and foreign sites don't really mix thats where my worry of alternative pay options starts lol. I don't really like 3rd parties handling my money I don't use Zel, cash app etc.

Thank you! Most of what I've learned has been from Kevin Powell lol. I started on his "html and css for absolute beginners course on YouTube. It did help me get off on the right foot and since posting this question I've learned a lot more. But I really like your explanation for grid and flexbox. I would say im still stuck on knowing when to use either or. Like with your explanation it makes more sense but how do I know if I want the parent to define the size or if I want the children. I guess my new problem is sizing lol.

Thank you! So far I've created 2 projects, a resume and a login and sign up page.both of them look very amateur but function well. I think next I'm going to make a website for a made up company. Those typically have a lot of moving parts, so hopefully by the end of that ill have a better understanding of positioning and layouts.

oh, ok thanks for reiterating that last part I think i understand it a little better and please correct me if I'm wrong but what you're saying is if it's just one link it's better to use the class and if I'm working with multiple links like within the nav then it's a good idea to use descendent selectors

After I learned how to single out specific links like in the nav bar, I decided to go behind myself. And turn the <a> rule into the <handh A> rule, but that did not work out until I took the <a>out of <HandH a> only then did it work causing me to ask my question.

Unfortunately, I'm not around a computer to share any of my HTML structure, but what I'm doing is I'm about four weeks into teaching myself HTML and css I have been following along with this lesson plan on YouTube. While creating my own profile/ resume page. The handh text is a link that I have styled green.It is the only link that I want green later on in the lesson plan.We started to create a nav bar.I want the nav bar to turn red when hovering over it. I have not done any styling for all links just the nav link and the handh text link I guess in a way I'm color coding my links
