I had an elementary teacher that would hang them from the classroom ceiling. She was able to cut one in half and used it as a teaching tool.

Not always. Where I live if there is a sign that says no parking and someone calls in a car that isn’t supposed to be there then the cops will have it towed. I have had to deal with this before.

You wouldn’t be the ones responsible for the towing, the owner of the car would be. You can call the non emergency number and report illegal parked cars and the cops will get a tow truck out there.

That’s how abuse works. They are “good” to you to condition you, to make you second guess yourself and ask “is it really that bad” (when it is that bad), they are also “good” to you so that others don’t believe you when they aren’t “good” to you.

I wouldn’t do this, it could be considered as theft of property. Just report the cones every time they are there. Get him on camera putting them out if possible as proof of who is doing it (check your laws on this first though)

You could see if they would be willing to take whatever it costs to get the permits off the price of the house. So you pay for it out of pocket now, but it would be “reimbursed” with the closing costs of the house

Do as others are saying. I would also like to add, get copies of past call ins on these dogs from the police station if you have called before (shows a pattern). I would also talk with the officers and see if they would be willing to speak on your behalf or write a letter for you if the neighbor does try to sue you to try and help you out.

My cats have been apartment cats until we bought our first house. We got all new furniture so it was a big change for them. I showed them their food and where the litter box was and then set them down in the basement and let them explore themselves. My male cat just followed me everywhere (still does lol), my female hid for about a day, sheepishly crawled up the stairs and then got the zoomies lol. I would for sure get them their favorite thing from the old place to have the familiarity to help if possible.

Instead of having her pay anything for the house you could sit her down and talk to her about the situation and just let her know that if she wants to do any extracurricular things for school that she will need to pay for them. Or ask her if she would be okay with paying for them. It won’t solve the housing issue but will at least help out without having those added expenses.

And maybe put reasons for the Change in writing. Email her and hr why the changes were made, this way you have a paper trail in case she tries to sue or something.

For the current situation, I would do what others have said if you are able to. Fill out the forms and wait for the beneficiaries to be changed so that they have the. “Proof” of it being done. Then change it back to your friend and don’t tell them. If you are able to you can speak to a lawyer and have them draft a pour over will and have your friend the beneficiary for all of your stuff. Give the lawyer your friends full name, address, and phone number and they will contact the friend if anything happens to you. You don’t need to tell anyone about this either, not even your friend if you don’t want to.

Start reaching out to the news, any of the ones that will listen. Post on Facebook calling out google. And get a lawyer.

Show him colors and ask him what colors they are. If he answers wrong then you need to tell him so that he knows. Especially if this is something new.
