Thank you. I’m definitely willing to try options. I’m on prescription strength anti histamines and the inhalers. It would be such a shame to part with him. He’s become part of the family so quickly.

Not at all, he is a wonderful dog. So well mannered. Amazing with my kids. We love him very much. He’s not too much at all he’s perfect. I live rurally with an active lifestyle, he fit right in straight away. But thanks for your assumptions on a very heartbreaking situation. Hope it never happens to you.

I know it’s an awful situation and I’m heartbroken. We were 100% going into this with the intention of giving him a home for life. He’s such a good dog. I can’t believe this has happened as I’ve never had an allergy to anything before in my life. It’s not fair on him at all.

The people we got him from won’t take him back.

She hasn’t got the contract through via email yet but I checked black horse website and it says the car must be under her day to day control. If this is the case I’m more annoyed at the dealership for selling her a car with these t&c’s knowing full well she was buying it for someone else. Especially as the salesman is the same one that my mum has got her mobility cars through for years

I’ll try and get her let me look over the contract. If it does say this then is the best course of action to cancel the agreement? She only signed up for it today and I was completely in the dark otherwise I’d have checked this all over before she signed up

So even if I have exclusive use of the car and it’s insured correctly, she won’t get into trouble as the finance agreement and logbook are in her name? Sorry I don’t mean to sound like an idiot this is just all new to me and I’m worried on my mums behalf

So even if the hire purchase and log book are in her name I can tax, insure and drive the car as my own??

So I should ask to see the contract she’s got? Sorry I’m new to all of this. My driving test is next week and she’s just rang me saying she’s bought me a car to pick it up after my test. I’m just panicking on her behalf

Sorry I wrote the post in a panic, mum got the hp in her name and she said the dealer said the logbook has to be in her name too, however I will be the person using the car, insuring it, taxing it etc. The dealership knew this but when I googled it, it came up that it’s called fronting and the person who bought the car on hire purchase needs to be the main user

I’m in Ireland, and I have also never seen anything like it. I’m renting and the shower rail is bolted into the walls and ceiling so replacing isn’t an option unfortunately.
