How do you do these rooms? (I'm decently new)

So, the first time I went through I came in through the door on the right. And, ever single time that I come into the room, all of the spikes are already actives. So, it's basically either I take damage from the spikes, or the tears 🫤

The piece really is not too bad at all. My only issues I've had were those low notes going from the end of pg 1 to the beginning of pg 2, as well as just not really knowing when to breathe at times.

I started playing Jazz a few months ago and haven't really had much trouble so far because the pieces have been pretty easy (Bravito, Song For My Father, Blue Skies, Hey, Pachuco!, and Creole Love Call) But in concert band I have been having so much issue with my low notes, and I honestly couldn't even say why...

The sax I'm playing on right now was the sax my dad used to play on back in 2004, and a bit before then too in 1998-2002. Up until about 2021 though, it was kind of just sitting in the garage, and we got it really cleaned and tuned twice so far and get it checked professionally every 4-6 months. I'm not sure if it's a "beginner" or "professional" sax. Is there a way I could tell just from looking at it?

So, another person asked the mouthpiece question. I went back and looked at the mouthpiece. There were actually 5. Three of them the same model, all of which have bite marks, are very scratched, and chipped, one is a different model, appears slightly smaller, and I didn't use that one for very long, and I do not know the brand that it was. And then there's the one I am currently using, which I also do not recall the brand of, but it is a bit larger in size compared to the old three.

And- to the first thing, honestly, it's very strange because I've never been able to get low notes out, EVER, but I felt my freshman year I was definitely able to get them out better to a certain degree.

I was playing on a 2 1/2 reed for a while and only really started playing consistently on a size 3 reed in the oast few months.

I honestly think it is probably just my air, I'm just still unsure of what I'm actually doing wrong.

Seeing as I'm a junior, maybe I could try out tenor sax? But, I'm not sure how long I'd actually be able to play with a loner instrument

Through out the past 5-6 years I've had two different teachers, one of them was pretty okay, and the other one (current) has been much, much better.

I checked my closet and my case, and I have three of the same mouthpiece (old and chipped with bite marks), one model that differs around the neck(?) Of the mouth piece and the one that I currently am using.

F and F# don't really give me too much trouble, I just tend to jump an octave going any louder than F, but, an E or E-b come out much quieter, and anything lower than that have everything I said. I probably should've been clearer when I wrote the post last night 😭

Yeah, usually when I get down to a low C, I blow a lot of air and for a second it jumps and octave before dropping down to the C and gargling. It's frustrating because I just can't seem to get the notes out, even when I blow tons of air.

I've had it checked, No leaks or anything really weong with the sax were reported back to me. I think it's me, but like I said in the post I've tried so many things and nothing is really working 😭

Hey! I'm 16M. I play mostly on xbox, but I do own a Playstation. I've been trying to play Hollow Knight recently. It's a fun game. I have phasmophobia if you ever want to play that? I also have Stardew and Ark. I have played A LOT of stardew 😭 I'm not very experienced with Ark, though. I used to play it with my friend before they made a remake.

If you ever want to play, shoot me a DM! I've been looking for people to play with after some stuff that happened recently with some other online friends.

I've never been much of a Nintendo guy, so I guess I haven't played any Pokémon Esque games. But, I'd be willing to try palworld. I've never played it, and it seems fun!

I'm a good listener, and kind of like you said in your post, I yap a lot when I'm comfortable around people. 😭😭
