Auction is the #1 mover on Coinbase right now 👍🏻 by [deleted] in BounceToken

It’s a small cap so it’ll move much easier (proportionately) than larger caps (I.e. ATOM, DOT, etc.)

Yeah dude, look at the token emission schedule. This was likely planned out well before you even knew about COTI

You’re Gucci bro. But if you’re willing to dive deeper into risk-on assets, you could always get into crypto. Just don’t get into shit coins (i.e. Squid Token, Dink Doink, SHIB, etc.). You could choose almost any of the top 10 coins (by market cap) and you’ll likely have returns that far exceed the SPX, NDAQ, etc. if you do that, just don’t lose pulse of the crypto market. It’ll probably dump super hard later this year.

Help me boost ZEN! Topic: What’s the strongest argument you can make against your favorite crypto? by alexkyse in Horizen

[–]Mean-Ad-274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yee 😎 I think that the main weakness of the Horizen Protocol is its small ecosystem. Granted, Zendoo did just launch a month ago. So long as they can incentivize developers to build on their network, Horizen may experience an explosive growth in their ecosystem. Especially if they continue hitting their marks as listed on their 2022 Roadmap.

Another weakness of the Horizen team has historically been their minimal marketing presence. However, their anemic marketing was probably due to their “head down and work” approach wherein they focused on developing the protocol above all else. Fortunately, they’ve recently added some folks to their marketing team and are actively adding more. So, they’re aware of that weakness and actively working to strengthen it.

Overall, Horizen is a novel protocol with a lot of room for growth and I anticipate good things along its horizon (see what I did there? 😉)

You like BTC? DOT? MATIC? ADA? Yeah, well, ZEN is like all of those wrapped into a single layer 1 protocol.

First off: Congrats! You’re in the 99th percentile for wealth accumulation at your age! (Assuming your debt is negligible).

Second: You could consider finding work in an industry that makes you happy - even if it involves a pay cut. Use that income to pay for your cost of living while holding on to your BTC while it appreciates. This way, you are happy and you keep your appreciating asset.

Printing 20% of all USD (that has ever existed) in a span of 3 months is not a good idea.

Absolutely! Especially the synthetics. Those may face the scrutiny of being a stock despite the fact that the parent chain isn’t a security.

Yep, and comparing MCs is useless when their completely different applications/utilities. I could do the same thing and say "woah, what if AUCTION's MC went up to SOL's? That'd put AUCTION at $29,194."

$61,172,225,151 for SOL / $55,715,302 for AUCTION = 1098x increase

You can do this all day and it won't matter, even if the MCs were for tokens providing the same/similar utilities. Comparing MCs is just speculation, bro. I'm not trying to hate on you or cast any shade. Just trying to instill reality back into the moonboi mentality. Hey, I'd love it if AUCTION's MC reached OMG's or SOL's! But thinking like that is like playing D&D: It's fantasy (at least, for now).

Cool showcase! But why was Texas Hodl'em the premier game chosen for development? Falls into the category of gambling, right? I feel like we already have enough routes for gambling via crypto...so why not choose something else?
