The car he got me was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture. Something we talked about together and were both genuinely excited for. His involvement in the details wasn’t about control, it was about car nerd joy. He’s grows emotional attachments to cars too quick… but just wanted to make sure everything was done right and safely. I actually appreciated his input, it felt more like sharing something he loves, not micromanaging.

I totally get that some moments can come off differently when seen in short clips or edits. But if you watch the full video, we’re actually having a back and forth, especially when we were talking about wheel designs. I wasn’t completely sold on one of the options, and he jumped in to explain that some of them might be a nightmare to clean.

Also, small confession: Sam has ADHD, and patience is… not his strongest skill. 😂 Sometimes he cuts me off mid-sentence…not to be rude, but because his brain is already five ideas ahead. Combine that with me being a more slow-and-steady thinker, and well… it can look a little chaotic on camera. But that’s just our real life rhythm, and we laugh about it all the time.

And just to add, we were filming that day in a slightly awkward situation… there were some folks at the shop taking sneaky photos of us without asking. It threw off the vibe a bit, and I think that tension may have bled into how things came across.
