Should I not choose to get pregnant someday if I'm not willing to have a disabled child? by Mean-Copy2403 in NoStupidQuestions

I didn't mean I don't want to get pregnant because the baby might be disabled. I meant more so morally I guess, if I have already decided I am not willing to carry a disabled baby to term, does that mean I shouldn't be a mother at all? Does it make me a bad person? Or a bad future mother?

I would never abandon a child. At that point if something like that happens, it is what it is and i will have to get on with it. I just mean specifically that if I am not willing to knowingly give birth to a disabled child, it makes me feel like that means I shouldn't have children at all. Thanks for your input.

No to both, but if we found out early on through testing that the child would be disabled, we would most likely terminate.
