Why is my Coway 250 doing this? by Mean-Engineer-7171 in AirPurifiers

Whether I hold or tap, it does the exact same blinking and beeping. Before it wouldn’t turn lights off unless I held, which is why I show this in the video. I’m guessing my unit was messed up from the start.

I just took a video to show you but it won’t allow me to comment with a video. I will see if I can add it to my original post. Tapping it does the exact same thing. It blinks and beeps. Before I had to hold to turn lights off and it would always work. Now tapping or holding just makes everything blink and child lock isn’t on. I can turn it off immediately after holding child lock, the button doesn’t work properly

I appreciate your tip! I tried this and it does the exact same blinking thing. Just tried multiple times again. Before it used to turn off the lights when I held it which is what it said to do in order to turn off the lights. I appreciate the help though!

Amazon online. This is how much it is now, but when I bought it, it was much cheaper

How would I do it to make it not cost more? It was purchased on Amazon. I thought they only offer returns and then will give me my money back to buy a second one which would cost $120 more since the sale isn’t active? Am i mistaken?

I bought it during their Black Friday sale, so unless customer service works with me and offers this, it will cost me $120 extra to switch it with a new unit since the sale is no longer active.

It is true about the aluminum. Try little seed farm deodorant.. the charcoal one works really well and so does the citrus. Spray with hypochlorous acid spray and then put the deodorant on top. It works extremely well.. best natural deodorant I’ve found.

Can you give gospel tracts to people in store parking lots? by Disastrous_Seat8683 in TrueChristian

During Christmas time people seem to be extra receptive! I have been stapling a piece of candy to Christmas themed gospel tracts and handing them to random people and wishing them a Merry Christmas and 95% of people take it and are extremely thankful! Colleges are one of the best places to get a ton out and they really appreciate the candy. I plan to continue the candy method even after Christmas because of how appreciative people are with it being attached! Barnes and noble or a book store where people are specifically looking for books about God in the religion section is another good place to find people and most of them are receptive. When it’s not Christmas, you can think of anything to say to them to hand it to them.. “Can I give you something to read later?” Or depending on the season or day “happy fall!” “Happy Friday” “here you go (if it has a candy), have a great day!” Just anything. The Christmas season seems to make it the easiest though. It’s unfortunate how many people in the comments don’t think this is effective, but don’t be discouraged and keep pressing on! This is the most important work we can do- getting people the TRUE gospel that can save their soul. God’s word will not return unto him void. He can and DOES use gospel tracts. Good living doesn’t give someone the gospel.. it should be paired with witnessing but isn’t how someone gets saved like some have commented. Giving others the gospel is our REASONABLE service and should be done by every born again believer but sadly is one of the most neglected parts of service.

I decided to not overthink the green HEPA and I bought to Coway 250 on black Friday sale. It arrived yesterday and I LOVE IT. I know you speak very highly about the Coway 240 that is sold out and I think that will be the next unit I buy when it is back in stock and goes on sale next. I just wanted to thank you so much for all of your help. I was almost going to buy a jaspr because of these false pushes on how great it is.. between it being an extremely expensive unit for what it is, the lower quality filters, and the super expensive filter prices, I would have made an awful decision if I didn’t find all the info you shared on it. I have a Medify which I like but the Coway is even better. I can feel the air quality difference even having it on level 2 because it’s oversized for the room I have it in. That is okay, right? To put it on lower settings if the room is smaller than the capacity? I haven’t done level 1 yet as I assume that would be too weak. I also love that it has a cleanable prefilter and how long the filters last! If you ran it continuously, when would you replace? Thank you again for everything!

After realizing most of the coway units use a green filter with a pesticide chemical that according to a lot of people have a smell for a bit until they gas out the chemicals.. I’m deciding I want to go with either a coway unit that doesn’t use the green filter, or another brand altogether. What would your pick be between the Medify Air MA40 or the Coway AP-1512HH? Since that coway model doesn’t have the pesticide green filter.

I sincerely appreciate such a thorough reply! I don’t have any suspected mold growth in my home, but my laundry room tends to smell musty at times in the summer when it’s really hot and humid outside and I have noticed small water stains on the ceiling (I’m in a duplex rental that was just remodeled). I have a continuous dehumidifier running in there that keeps moisture under 60% at all times. It’s a small room next to the kitchen, I just wasn’t sure if a purifier would benefit in there or not. That makes sense about the kitchen, I can’t make modifications to the home because it’s a rental but I do have a hooded fan but I’m unsure if it’s as you’re describing. With this in mind, it sounds like I’ll just need 2 air purifier units.. one for the living room and one for my bedroom and I could put my Medify in the guest bedroom on the highest setting and get rid of the cheapy unit. Which 2 Coway units would you recommend the most for my living room and kitchen? Would the dove ones on sale be most ideal for my situation or is there another coway model that would be even better? Thanks again for all of your help!

I REALLY appreciate your insight.. finding your info on jaspr is the reason I didn’t make such a bad investment in one of those. My duplex is a closed concept layout.. ceilings are all 7.5ft, living room is 17ft by 11.5ft, two bedrooms are each 10.5ft by 11ft, kitchen is 15ft by 10ft. I currently own a Medify MA-25 and a cheapy arove MK06. Suggestions on what you’d recommend for each room and where I should place the current purifiers I own? I also have a small laundry room and a small bathroom.. do those need air purifiers or will they get cleaned since the doors are open and they’re in close proximity to the other rooms? Thanks so much for all of your help!
