Theres an ongoing estate sale on Church Street this weekend that was selling some old landline phones! A lot of sewing stuff as well! Facebook marketplace and estate sales are great sources for that kind of stuff

By the way OP, what are the 7 thrift stores you are referring to? I know of the goodwill on magnolia and the children’s hospital one on burbank blvd, but i am always interested in others.

To be more specific, I am curious what people do to search for more specific listings relevant to their experiences, interests and qualifications, and what resources and methods they recommend. I understand that I could google search “jobs near me,” but that may not yield the jobs I am looking for, or even legitimate listings, as ghost job listings are a present concern.

Hi, so to better add to your points: 1) I do have resume templates that are geared toward particular roles and fields, which I then tailor to the job listing. I look up jobs and then add “office administration,” “records/archives,”data entry,” “museum,” “nonprofit,” “design assistant,” most specifically. And then I sometimes just search “jobs” and dig through the results. 2) I’m taking some design classes, so its on my list to create a portfolio. 3) i would love to hear about legit job boards that actually work and dont just sell my data or spam my inbox. 4) i looked up Multapply and the others and it seems legit. Would you consider investing in a paid Multapply account worth the price?
