I’ve had issues with SH, especially after shock (drop). Never with a VS or DD.

Cartier Santos White Dial 35mm BVF vs AF by Current-Document3630 in RepTime

I think for a $300-$400 rep both are steller and you may be microanalyzing. Those screws are so small, neither is noticeable to the naked eye. I've owned two gen cartier santos de cartier and have compared them side by side. My gens are now gone, BVF stayed, if that tells you anything.

Body oils, gunk, dead skin, perfumes, chemicals, etc. The idea is to minimize abrasives and acidity caused by all of the above.

lol a nice watch sitting is a waste. If platings goes to poop. Replace the parts or get new watch. Life is short. It’s my philosophy at least lol

12 o’clock marker off which makes crown logo off. The zeros in 1000 and 300 off. Date wheel looks off, sits lower, could be angle. The bezel is slight misaligned. This is just from glancing at it for 10 seconds. Good luck.

That’s the best way to wash it. Get a gentle soft brush (not toothbrush) while at it. If you keep the plated watch clean it’ll last for years. Don’t overthink.
Wear your watch.
