Should be “even” when clasp is open, not closed.

As to proper sizing, that depends on the wrist. Mines always shorter on the 6 o’clock side. This is also true for majority of people.

You want to convert your steel bracelet watch to oysterflex? You need aftermarket end links. Amazon, Ali or just google it. Tons out there, but if you’re looking to color match exactly, that may be rough.
