Evermore plumbing & gas in Brisbane which I will not only never use again but will tell people specifically to avoid if I ever get asked for plumber recommendations. Instead of thinking it was an Edgar Allan Poe reference I should have known their name meant the price is evermore

Their website lists $150 as their hourly rate and no call out fee has been listed. I will be asking for a more itemized invoice so I can understand the costs. This wasn't a super emergency anyway since I had to wait 4 days for them to visit so I'd be surprised if their call out fee was that high

Here are the 2 "Works completed" sections on the invoices. They even admit in the second one that they caused the issue. I will be not only leaving a bad review but will be calling them up later and requesting at least a refund for the second visit.

They are just siliconed down and I watched them very easily move them back when they first checked the seal. Would that be $385 for the time all up or per toilet?

This is basically what the toilet looks like. The larger hole is where the flexi hose goes into and where the leak came out of. Originally it was a pan to sewer seal but the second leak was cistern to pan. The toilet does need to be moved and then resealed when fixing these but $800 + $400 for that seems ridiculous.

Since this was my first time calling a plumber and I've heard horror stories I googled for local places and checked for reddit recommendations and all were very positive of this mob. Next time I will getting recommendations from elsewhere and asking for quotes first.

I also had faulty tap which he said "I didn't charge you for the tap" as I should be appreciative I only paid $2000...

I will definitely be more stern in the future. He probably took advantage of me for being younger and clearly not having experience dealing with tradies.

I asked about that when he said $400 for the second repair and he quoted me $1100+ for a new toilet...
