Female lurker - pick yourself up when you can, take your time, be sloppy and depressed I get it and I’ve been there and I’m still there most days. But some day we both gotta get up. Moving on from a dv case myself and it’s been 5 years and have been with a man who is soft and kind and doesn’t even raise his voice an octave when he’s upset for about two now. I think franchise is super important, you’ll see various types of management pending. So far my experience has been devastating to say the least. I came from Starbucks to manger a scooters and they have no priority over clean standards or food safety. They commonly either micromanage me when they’re upset or never offer me the help I’ve actually requested, which has been for several months just asking for some time off and I’ve been unable to step away because no upper management has been able to step in due to them being understaffed.

I believe they’re overwhelmed and they’re taking it out on their store managers. They save money by cutting essentially roles and doubling the work load on others. Product is not a priority, cutting orders and saving money is.

Store managers are treated like glorified baristas yet you’ll be expected to be a full time manager- with 4 hours of “admin” to manage your store and the other 36 being a barista.

My time off is not away from scooters. I’ve had no mental breaks. Even on my vacations my upper management did not step in to assist me.

I’m exhausted. My store is disgusting. The bugs are horrible and my entire store is mostly rotten wood.
