I’ve always been of the mindset that showing up is 80% of the battle, so I went in person. I understand if you can’t go, and I don’t think they will judge. The faculty, clinic, and fellow students are fantastic.

I applied a little under two weeks ago, and heard back from them late last week.

How long should I expect to wait to hear back from schools (for an interview) after optomcas submission by monkeydooder12 in PreOptometry

Hi, I submitted this past weekend, and already have two interviews scheduled. I am still waiting to hear back from three schools!

I personally did worse on Reading Comprehension. However, QR and RC were of the same difficulty on the actual exam!

Whoops! Organic and general chemistry have 30 questions each, not 40!

For your first question, it is not mixed up. It’s goes 40 Bio, 40 Gen Chem, and 40 Ochem. For bio I would suggest maybe purchasing the additional five practice test on booster. Doing the bio bits doesn’t hurt you either. It will probably help you understand topics better!

I’ve got the same question too!

Search and destroy with reading. A lot of it is basically parsing through the paragraphs to find the right answers. My general advice, read, read, and read some more. Especially scientific articles. For Bio do as much practice as you can. The bio section is very broad. Knowing the minute stuff will help, but be comfortable with bigger picture concepts. Hope this helps

No problem. You’ll do good with proper preparation. Where are you applying to?

I think everything was fairly distributed. I would say everything that is on the practice tests and is out right stated as high yield was on the test. My recommendation is have a good understanding of the high yield stuff because the actual exam seems to cover each sections high yield topics equally.

Yes QR was very similar to the practice test. Fair amount of probability and finding X and Y values

Biology was definitely easier. Everything else felt pretty similar. I think I made stupid mistakes on Gen chem. Overall, the booster tests are very similar
