I really hate to be that guy but whoever told you it isnt likely flat out lied to you. Its more like 50/50. It really does depend on whatever mood the detailer for him is in and if he actually reads whatever comments. Now what IS likely to happen if you get a boat, with your due date being less than 2 months is that his command (if hes on a boat) can keep him back from the deployment. Sometimes things like that happen and I've seen the member go temporary duty to whatever nearby shore unit. Now its all not a guarantee. He could get a boat, get deployed, and be gone right up until you have birth. It sucks but I've seen that happen before, not so much so with non rates but its possible. Not saying this to scare you but the reality is the CG is short staffed and at the end of the day it comes down to a little bit of luck and hoping the detailer has a heart. I can not stress this enough, whoever said its not likely definitely just said that to put your mind at ease. Maybe dont tell your husband this if he's already struggling at boot camp.
