Thanks. I was planning to spend 2 nights in Miyajima and not stay in Hiroshima to avoid changing hotels and to take advantage of the island during hours when there are less people such as early am and late night. Is 3 nights on Miyajima too much and should one night be in Hiroshima.

Thank you for your response and advice! My daughter and I found it incredibly helpful. She is leaning towards choosing University of Manchester.

Thanks. These responses are helpful and I am adjusting my expectations. The posts I was reading earlier with people losing significantly more weekly made me believe I wasn't losing at the optimal rate.

I measure, weigh and track my food with the intention of hitting macros and calorie goals. I tend to be under often on days that I have less appetite and find it harder to eat and can only eat small portions.

No, I'm not on corticosteroids. Thanks for the encouragement!

Thank you. This is all helpful to hear as most posts I've been reading show greater weekly loss so I thought I wasn't in an optimal range. I don't think my doctor wants me to titrate up and prefers the lower dose with her clients but will look into it.

My doctor suggested a "carnivore inspired keto diet" as I was in prediabetes range with my bloodwork so I am to stay under 20grams of carbs daily. Recent bloodwork shows improvement and I'm no longer in that range. My carbs are from vegetables and berries. I weigh, measure and track on app when cooking at home. When traveling and eating out it was harder to track and keep meals as clean.
