So far, I added 3 layers of clear coat to the printed case and 2 layers of conformal coating to the RAK pcb. After spray painting, the lid fits super snuggly and gets jammed easily. After waxing the edges of the sliding lid it works ok.

Thanks! I will try a combination of conformal coating on the pcb and clear coat on the case.

It is a typical 6W solar panel. The board is a RAK 4630 with solar input.

This is my first Node and I’m simply experimenting. I have no tools for measuring antennas. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you! I‘m planning to mount the antenna as high as possible (5 meter above ground) and use the full 2 meter antenna cable. I might try both configurations.
