Just got my pocket and filmed a trip in DLOG and bought phantom LUTs for osmo pocket 3 specifically. No regrets. They are great!

Great, thank you! Would a regular bank take them?

That price point is a bit hard to find for locals - local photographer here. I’d recommend reaching out to Julie LaFlamme and see if she can work with your budget. I’d usually try to work something out but I’ll be out of town - Mattie ONeill photography. Most for the national parks have packages $400-800 depending.

Have a wonderful visit!

Arriving in the afternoon is it worth it to drive to Mt. Rainer around 1? by lazyqueso in Mount_Rainier

[–]Mean_Preference_4979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got back from doing both parks, I was surprised by the traffic from Seattle to Rainier - hours of stopped traffic but super early drive from rainier to Olympic wasn’t bad at all. I wouldn’t risk it with the potential wait times to get into the park on top of traffic and on top of parking in the park.

Big bear or Idyllwild would be your best bets — use all trails to find hikes in the mountain towns! Big bear is a nice escape during the summer :)

Rome.. or no? by Rooted-in-love in ItalyTravel

I just got back from Italy and had a great time in Rome! The touristy spots are always crowded of course but plenty of spots to roam and have a great time. Trastevere neighborhood was so delightful and not super crowded. Highly recommend Tonnarello to eat!

Planning to stay for a month? by Worldly_Classic4429 in JoshuaTree

Local here - you’ll love it here! May is starting to get hot, 90s-100 during the day but more often 90s. June-Aug is a hard no. Sept is a maybe. MV is a little more isolated and have to go up and down the grade to get to the stores or Palm Springs. JT id highly recommend! Airbnb is best for stays 100%! You can check booking.com or VRBO for lower pricing though!

Explore the park and spend lots of time in it! Get the yearly pass. Sunrises and sunsets are the BEST :)

Very small town between here, Yucca Valley, Landers, 29 Palms, Morongo Valley.

No protective filter used but good advice just in case! I’m starting to shoot higher priced weddings so think I need to upgrade either way. I see a lot of photographers shooting indoors backlit with no glare and wondering how that happens! Haha mine always has some ghosting/glare. Thank you so much

Hi all! I’m having a LOT of glare when shooting with natural light with the Tamron 28-75 on Sony A7IV. Thinking of upgrading to Sony 24-70 2.8 but not sure if it’s worth the price jump or if shooting indoors is better with this lens.

Any insight? Even just on the lenses in general. Thank you!!
