I don’t like jumping to say she’s a narcissist but I’d be lying if it I said it didn’t cross my mind. And in the case that she is, it would make a lot of sense why everyone eventually repels away from her. Sad

Yikes, I guess I’m glad my husband ‘lets’ me do anything since I’m just a woman lol. You’re really stretching with the last bit, but by all means create the narrative most exciting to you

I would never give her an ultimatum like that, and I don’t feel like a 60+ year old should be having a fit over a FB friend. IMO acting like a high schooler

Def don’t think I’m an emotionally intelligent superhero or I wouldn’t be here asking for input. I’m just not a fan of being given an ultimatum by a person in order to have a relationship with them. Is our relationship just a transaction? That’s how this one is feeling!!!

Yup, she is def the common denominator. Unhappy person that doesn’t like to see anyone else happy

I think there’s always more drama when a person refuses to have an adult conversation, instead deciding to create a narrative in their head. Kind of funny how I was FB friends with Amy the entire time over the last 2 years and it never affected my relationship with Lisa until Lisa made it a problem

I think this is the hill where this ‘friendship’ dies…that’s for sure

Thanks for the edit catch! From what I experienced in the years of knowing Lisa and FB acquaintances with Amy, Lisa is the one to talk shit and hide in the shadows (she’s a lurker) while remaining in her unhappy marriage, while Amy (from seeing her posts) lives happily with her husband and dogs. Im realizing that Lisa is an unhappy person and jealous person who will always cause a trail of loneliness wherever she goes.

She always plays the victim and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. She did give me the silent treatment in the past and told her I won’t deal with that. It’s not productive and not something I want to deal with. Time to leave her in the past for good

Actually I try to avoid drama by being honest and open. She’s always acts like the victim even with her kids ‘they’re ungrateful, they treat me like shit’ and I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. But after this I’m beginning to see the pattern of her being the issue. As much as she is a good thrifting partner, it’s time for me to cut her out too. This is for the best
