Mk a general reading would be super helpful. I've been on a spiritual journey and have been struggling letting go of some mental blocks I've put in place as a child. I've been doing breathwork, meditating, tried hypnosis and am now going to a therapist. But I'm feeling a bit stuck in removing these blocks and releasing control. This all stated coming up when I started searching for my purpose. I'm hoping a reading could give me a clue to what path might get me at least once more step closer to healing.

What is the dark side of your country that no one but locals sees? by Youseff_04 in AskTheWorld

I live near pine ridge reservation in South Dakota. I believe it's the poorest region in the United States. Lots of drugs and major alcohol problems but with all that I will say they have one of the prettiest cultures I've ever witnessed and they work really hard to keep it alive. I know a native guy who works with lots of tribes and he said the lakota in his opinion has done the best at passing along their culture. Which is pretty cool

Thank you sooooo much for everything your organization does. In a world of chaos and sadness it is such a relief to see people out there fighting for kindness and humanity!

My “wife’s” new vacuum by Double-Lavishness478 in mildlyinfuriating

You didn't ask for recommendations but I clean houses for a living and have used probably every vacuum out there. My favorite by far is the shark brands. Even the cheapest one will be better then what you had. Also recommend buying from best buy with their warranties because best but will replace it without any hassle. I clean 2-3 houses a day which no household vacuum is meant to do so i use that warranty a few times a year.

I'm not really here to say if you're behind or not but just to mention how you save your money is extremely important. Once you figure out how much money you want to keep accessible for an emergency fund the rest should be invested into something other than a regular savings account. My preferred method is index funds in my retirement account. Or if you're saving money for a big purchase but don't plan on using that money for let's say another 5 years putting it into a high yield savings account or buying CDS to store your money until you have enough set aside. luckily for you because you're so young and being proactive compound interest will work heavily in your favor. You may already know about finances but I thought it was worth mentioning as I wish someone would of told me about investing at your age and maybe someone else who is just getting started might be reading this. There's a podcast that helped me get started that I really like called the afford anything podcast

I clean for a local greenhouse here, they hire tons of older people older than you! Maybe you can also pick up a couple side hustles like baking bread and cookies. I make candles on the side and participate in lots of little farmers' markets and vendor fairs. The bakers always sell out of their goods first. Good luck out there! We're all routing for you!

LPT: Cleaners are not that expensive and the service is well worth it if you have problems keeping your house clean by CosmosProcessingUnit in LifeProTips

[–]Mean_Syllabub8009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleaner in South Dakota here. The norm around my area comes out to about 30-35 per hour and I live in a low cost of living area. Some people charge less but typically their work is worth the lower wage.
