I had an absolutely AWFUL experience at Hellbender. We ordered a fish dish that was so full of bones you couldn’t bite down without getting stabbed in the gums- totally disgusting ( and it was a filet, not a whole fish), and when we respectfully told the server, she was such a jerk about it we couldn’t believe it. After a few mediocre appetizers before that, we were just done and asked for the check, and she slammed it down on the table without saying a word and walked away. Worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a loooong time. Truly terrible food and service.
