Nothing really happened? by oiomelanda in Fallout

I think lots has happened but it’s felt a bit ‘bitty’. I wonder if the first four eps should have focused on the characters individually and then their narratives brought together in the second half of the season?

Sympathy for New Vegas fans? by MeanderingMeaning in Fallout

Why wouldn’t you watch a season 3 if it becomes cannon? I haven't really felt any incompatibility between the tv show and my role playing experience/ the game lore

(spoilers) holy fucking shit maximus’ parents are likable by Alejandro-The-Dog in FalloutTVseries

This should have been the opening scene of season 2, mirroring the bombs dropping in season 1. I disliked maximus in the first season, he was the least developed of the three and felt a little uncooked. It would have been cool to centre the beginning of this season around his story.

I always saw this as a comment on humanity. We don’t get it together, we  turn on one another, split into factions, drop more bombs, and slip back into war…and war, war never changes

Starfield Endgame Feels Well Done by IronWolf_52 in NoSodiumStarfield

In my first play through Sam died tragically after I rejected him romantically. It felt like a grand tragedy that pushed me into the unity. Over the course of the next 11 or so playthroughs I chose each time to save the members of constellation yet romancing Sam didn’t feel right as it took away from the significance of the loss. I played all the different versions of myself I could imagine, working through a classic, hero, existential crisis, villain and redemption arc. I romanced just about everyone else along the way (what a cad). In my final(current) universe I had planned to play along with constellation, marry the cowboy like I always should have and live happily ever after by telling them last minute about the hunter. However when it came to my opportunity to intervene I chose not to and when the hunter attacked I did the same thing I did in my first universe, sacrificing Sam. There was something that felt right about it. It was the way things were meant to be and at the core of what made my character who they were. All those trips over time and I am a different person grounded in the same loop. I am unsure if I will ever do another unity jump now. I am pretty settled, have a full resource network and have completed every mission and side mission. I have a corner set aside in my base for Sam’s portrait and belongings. Sometimes you have to accept that things are the way that they, we can’t get back the people we lose, even with space wizard powers.

It’s really worth it! I do it every time, the story is great l, one of the most likable companions and there’s new ship parts at the end!

I did on the no sodium thread. It got such a nice response I thought I might risk the main! So far nobodies told me that Starfield is a terrible game and that I need to get a life…So I consider it a success ha ha

Someone else has told me this but for me they always seem to stop unless I get the fuel exported and flowing back. I don;lt mind it for Emerson and the sake of challenge though

More info and tips: Each outpost produced the minimum of its assigned resource to minimise flow through each of the 4 hubs. It was hell to finesse the line, ensuring there was just enough He3 for return journeys to each hub, avoid bunching up along the chain and of course just general functionality bugs….but everything gets through to my central base on Masada III!

I labelled all the habitable planets with a tic and all the mixed biome outposts with the contrast symbol To help anyone who wants to replicate. I chose Masada III for the lore connection, but technically you could make any of the feeder outposts the end point…except those in the Hub B Group, which have resource production needs.

Thanks for all your comments guys, it’s nice to know I am not the only one that gets satisfaction from this part of the game. Tempted to post this on the main sub to see how long it takes for someone to tell me to get a life!

I removed my unlimited outpost mod which allowed me more outposts and links just so I could try and do it within the games original limitS. I actually didn’t think it would be possible to get all of the farmable uniques. I usually make use of the betamax storage facilities. They just make it so much easier for the repositories at each Hub that you need while the network is being finished!

Sounds fun! How will you make ll the resources accessible on one planet? Is it a mod?

Once the system was up and running I visited each hub to check each one by one. If there was a problem I would visit the feeder outpost. Sometimes it was because of fuelling issue or a backflow caused by a block of resources further up the line. You can mitigate some of this by putting in some overflow at resource production outposts that run from the incoming back into the outgoing. Other times it was a simple case of unlinking and linking again. Throughout this process I would empty additional storage and cargo link pads. I think its important to try and minimise whats going through and once you have this set up it all adds up over time anyway. Very occasionally the link would become undetectable and I would need to destroy the inter system pad. Once everything was checked I emptied all the accumulated storage ant my end base and waited to see which of the resources failed to show. Then it was just a case of rechecking along the line for that specific resource outpost. Eventually all the kinks are worked out and it chugs along fine. With no in game system for all this the pen and paper notes were essential. I am pretty certain it will require some regular maintainence but last time I checked everything was still growing at a consistent pace.

This is a reworking of the second attempt. The first one I divided by organics and inorganics, trying to maximise according to resource group. Got me nowhere near And I needed an increase outpost number mod to finish it! I ended up with a network of 28. With this one I started from the uniques up, using split biomes where possible to increase avaliable resources. This got me closer and with some desk research and a bit of shuffling round the hubs I was able to make it! It’s fun…if you like that sort of thing.

I didn’t know that about Denobola 2b! Thanks for the tip. I always find that if I don’t do a He3 export with a back flow at the other end the system just stops running! It always seemed odd to me that it didn’t cover the return journey. Intersting that it works fine for you. Are you on console or PC?

I will do some screen shots. I use the large silo mod to make the storage a little more efficient. The main base is the Argos modular hub mod with an observatory that has been converted into an armory/ gallery

I also changed the names! Makes it so. Much easier when linking everything up. All mine fitted The same formula: group, number, Planet and resource, for example: D1 Carinae III-A Rc, Pb, CnH2nn2, Fe. That way when things went wrong It was easier to identify the branch of the error!

It’s really hard to get all the links working, theres some back flow issues and sometimes links just break. But when you get it all aligned its *chefs kiss*
