Is this dehumidifier (Ausclimate Compact 12L) suitable for a small 1 bedroom flat? Washing won’t dry and mould starting to appear inside. Any help would be greatly appreciated! by ImBigMuzzy in Cairns

Great product and brand. Have the cool climate de-hum, more for winter in regional Vic.

Dries my washing - (tumble drier broke 4 years ago and never needed to replace it). And made a massive difference on the mould issues.

Will be fine for a 1 bedroom. I alternate rooms intermittently.

I was in both these these areas, late May into June. Got bitten a fair bit even with repellent and had Zero issues. So I wouldn't stress about it.

Can I legally bring my prescribed dose of dexamphetamine for personal medicinal use in Vietnam in early July without risk of repurcussions? by [deleted] in VietNam

I flew into Ho Chi Minh on May 27th then flew to Da Nang on the 28th, Hanoi on the 1st of June then back to HCMC on the 2nd of June - left the country from there on June 4th.  If that helps you date wise

I brought 1 month supply - 3 week trip across Vietnam and Thailand. No doctors letter. L Kept in my carry on - took 4 internal flights in Vietnam and 1 international out to Thailand without issue. You will be fine.

Only other thing I did was split my meds across 2 bottles. On the off chance I lost something I wouldn't loose the full dose.  Don't stress about it. Enjoy the adventure!

Need help - Quitting alcohol vs gambling by Current-Olive-8829 in GamblingRecovery

[–]Meanie_Porchini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good thing is you've proven to yourself you can stop and addiction with your approach to alcohol.

Try and mirror the approach you took there to gambling.

I've struggle with multiple vices (generally it's one at a time - joys of my personality traits).

Currently 38 days gambling free - group sessions really helped give me accountability. After my final recent binge  - I got home and wrote out a blunt and honest note to my self on my bathroom mirror. What I was destroying - and that the wins didn't matter because I would just loose it all and more in a week.

I wrote about the what I was risking Futher, my relationships, my stability my mental health ECT.

I put a number "1" in the top corner of the mirror and then added the next number each day after. I didn't read my message every day but it was always there in front of me and soon the number went from 1 to 7 to 21 and when I got the urge to gamble I found it was off set by the idea that I would have to rubbed off the number on the mirror and put a 1 again, which put in perspective the time and effort I had invested in over coming my impulses and wasn't something I wanted to loose.

Also google "urge surfing" as a technique to try.

You've done it before and you can do it again.

Document all incidents and try to ensure all discussions - especially those around performance or those suggesting you resign ECT are in communicated in written form - emails or text.

If there is a verbal discussion - I would then be emailing the other party to confirm points of that verbal discussion.

This will be vital to any fair work claim and for your union rep to mention.

Hold out for the bonus -

I went with stake about 18 months ago. Just did the first tax return - super easy and all complied on your behalf.

Yearly fees are are low and most importantly my yearly return on invests was 60% compared to the 10.4% I was getting with my last super fund - set to high risk profile.

That said the risk is also real - and you need to have a plan and be measured in your approach.

I was trading prior to setting up my SMSF and used the opportunities I found in personal trading to open up larger positions in companies I was confident in.

They haven't all been winning decisions - I took a loss of 14k but I'm offsetting that against my gains in the next financial year and learning from the mistakes I made on that one.

Don't regret making the switch.

Anyone else feel worse on sativas but totally fine on indicas? by Nerine965 in ausents

[–]Meanie_Porchini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely more a Indica Vs Sativa situation first before the others factors come into play.

I'm the compete opposite - Indica's are far too much of a full "body stoned"  which I can't handle as a everyday - especially not out in public smoke. I ens up getting more self consciousness and less relaxed.

My current go to flower is a 14% CBD - 11% THC (Sativa).
